While Harry and Ron were back in book hell, Fish's confinement had ended.
Knowing that Fish was capable of completing his work in a short time, Professor McGonagall decided to suspend Fish's confinement to see if he would be able to complete his work without her supervision and for how long.
As it turned out, it turned out that Fish was not very happy about it.....
"Meow? does that mean I can't come and play with Minerva at night?" ?w?
As Fish had said earlier, he could play anywhere, and he had the most familiar of them all, Minerva, to keep him company.
For a moment Professor McGonagall felt amused and annoyed at the same time and took Fish in her arms, rubbed his head and squeezed his striking cat ears.
"Of course you can come if you want to."
Professor McGonagall couldn't wait for her own cat to come and keep her company, even if Fish made a bit of a mess when she was here, it was nothing compared to the healing feeling she brought.
But Professor McGonagall hadn't forgotten the purpose of Fish's confinement.
"But you must finish your homework before you come, and bring her in for inspection."
"You haven't finished my confinement?!" ∑(●ΦДΦ●)
Fish was startled and looked at Professor McGonagall with a look of disbelief.
The corner of Professor McGonagall's mouth twitched slightly before she slapped Fish on the side of the head, "Don't play dumb! After all this time I can't believe you haven't realized what confinement is all about."
"Awwww..." Fish covered his head and muttered with a small grimace of regret, "Yawn...fail, meow..."
Seeing that Professor McGonagall had raised her hand to give her another lesson, Fish broke free from her embrace and fled the office as soon as she hit the floor.
"Remember to do your homework!" said Professor McGonagall loudly behind Fish's back instead of chasing after him.
"Got it, meow!"
At the end of the night, the lions in the Common Room expected to see Fish sleeping and rolling around in front of the fireplace, as they always did, but they only saw Fish in his cat-man form, sitting at a table with a pile of homework.
Not that they hadn't seen Fish doing homework before, but Fish's method of doing homework at that time was to hold a quill and move it over the parchment without thinking, and the whole process took no more than a minute.
Now, however, there is a distinct difference in his attitude, as he will hold his head in his hands for a while and then write on the parchment while flipping through his textbook.
"It seems that Professor McGonagall's confinement effect during this period is having a good effect."
Hermione joined a group of young witches and whispered, being a huge fan of Professor McGonagall, that she would call her idol whenever she found the opportunity.
"Aww... I really want to go upstairs and help Fish with her homework..." said Lavender Brown looking distressed as she looked at Fish, who was scratching her ears, but her grades were average and she hadn't even finished her own homework, so she was just saying that.
However, her words alerted the senior girls, and some of those who had made good grades were already excited to move on and help Fish with her writing.
Now the girls in the lower grades and those with poor grades began to worry. Now this situation is not good for them. This is not the same as cutting food. Not everyone can easily complete their homework and still have time to help Fish.
"By the way, Hermione, you have done your homework, haven't you? Give it to Fish to copy." Parvati Patil, whom Fish called Three Eyed Sister, pulled Hermione, who was a little dazed.
When she came to her senses, Hermione immediately shouted, "No! We can't do that!"
She suddenly thought that, if she let Fish finish his homework first, he would have more time to think of a way to sneak through the trapdoor Fluffy was guarding, and if he succeeded, it would be easy for Snape to see him, so she unconsciously shouted.
The Common Room, which had been somewhat noisy, instantly fell silent, and everyone was confused by Hermione's sudden shout, even Fish, who was doing his homework, shot a puzzled look.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..."
Hermione blushed and apologized to her classmates who had been disturbed, but they didn't care, and after giving Hermione and the girls around her a surprised look, they went back to their own thing.
Fish twitched his cat ears, he had listened a bit, but it seemed that the girls were trying to help him with his task....
Fish, who had been doing his homework for a few minutes, was starting to get restless again, he perked his ears up, pretending to work on his homework, but in reality he kept his eyes on Hermione and the girls.
"Granger, what do you mean?"
Some of the senior girls were a little annoyed with Hermione's behavior, these new students were in class with Fish every day and now they were trying to help him with his homework.
"Just take it easy, and listen to me quietly..."
Hermione took a moment to calm down and quickly thought of how to persuade them, apart from her concern for Fish, Hermione herself didn't think it was a good idea for the girls to help Fish with his homework.
"I don't think Professor McGonagall would like that," Hermione said, pulling out Professor McGonagall's tiger skin to give the girls a breather before continuing, "It doesn't do her any good to help Fish, so, instead of doing his homework for him, I think it would be better to help him with his homework..."
Hermione suddenly lowered her voice and winked at them all, "Isn't that how you spend more time with Fish?"
Hermione had a little thought in mind here, if Fish really needed help with his homework, the smart older year students would have found a way to make finishing Fish's homework take longer, which would have shortened Fish's trip to Fluffy's house.
All of the above statements were not as effective as this last one.
The seniors, who had been a bit disgruntled, were instantly convinced, and several freshmen were also surprised. Although they could not tutor Fish, they could join in the name of being tutored together.
The only ones who couldn't get in were lower grade students with poor grades, but this was their own problem and they couldn't blame others.
"What you said...looks like Minerva, meow."
As the group of girls discussed how to assign Fish to tutoring duties, the person they were talking about approached at some point.
Fish came up behind her, pressed herself against Hermione's body, and rested his head on her shoulder. (●?w?●)?
"Minerva also said that I'm not allowed to copy homework, meow, but she also said that, if I don't understand something, I can ask others to help me." Fish tilted his head to the side, looking at Hermione, the hot air he spat out as he spoke hitting Hermione's ears and cheeks, making her dizzy.
"Yes, yes... Actually, I admire... Professor McGonagall."
Although Hermione had hugged Fish in his cat form before, this was the first time she had felt so close to him in his human form, and she was so happy that she couldn't speak properly, and after stumbling over the words, her brain basically stopped working and she just let out a giggle....
The girls around her were gnashing their teeth, wanting to knock Hermione down with a spell and take her position.
"Meow?"
Fish still didn't quite understand the word 'adore', but he knew it was a good word, so he nodded and continued to whisper in Hermione's ear, "Minerva likes Ratteeth too, meow."
With that, he simply got up off Hermione's back and asked the other girls, "So, who can be my homework tutor, meow?"
The girls were silent for a moment, then shouted in unison, "Me!!"
