Kidnapped 2

"Ms. Erena? Are you alright?"

"I am. I was just resting for a bit as it was a long day for us. Aren't you asking this question too much today? Do you think I am that weak?" Rain asked raising her head.

"It's not my fault. We are having quite an adventurous day and I can't help but worry about my senior." Kai shrugged. "By the way, Ms. Erena, aren't you afraid? We are kidnapped after all, and I don't think they have any plans of letting us go? You look very calm for the situation." Elliot asked.

"I have been in similar situation a couple of times since I started working in the Vision. Do you think being around Andrea is that easy? That lady is a walking magnet for kidnappers. She has earned herself quite a few enemies since she started working and investigating foes of the company. Let their boss come first for me to decide if it is dangerous or not. What about you? I can ask the same to you. You look pretty composed for someone who is kidnapped for the first time. You even look thrilled to me." Rain asked.

"After watching so many action thriller movies, it was always my dream to be kidnapped. Of course, I would be thrilled. As for not being scared, I have same reason as yours. I am also waiting for their boss to find out their true intentions. We can even try to buy them out using Ms. Andreas money. After all, Ms. Andrea did mention to rely on her if we face any adversaries and I believe she has quite a decent salary to be able to buy them." Kai pointed towards the goons on guard with his chin.

The goons on duty "-_-"

'Is he an idiot? Does he think that everything works according to those stupid movies? Which company even hired such an idiot in the first place.'

As if reading the goon's mind Rain asked "Are you an idiot? Do you think that everything works according to those stupid movies? Do you think offering money to these people will help?"

'Yes girl. Beat some sense in this stupid's brain before you die. You look like a smart one.'

"They are just underlings. You have to offer money to their boss. Their boss holds the true power and once you buy him off, they will follow whatever their boss say." Rain said next.

Goons "-_-"

Kai "-_-" 'I was just making up an excuse Ms. Erena. Do you really think that the real-world work like this? What sort of kidnappers did you face in the past year?'

"They are both idiots. How did they even manage to get hired by a company like Vision" One of the goons whispered turning towards his partner.

"Same question bro. Same." the other one replied looking at the two captured idiots with pity.

For the next hour or so, Rain and Kai talked about their pending work in the office while the two goons on the duty looked at them, perplexed. Soon the goons lost interest in their boring office talks and ignored them and began talking to each other.

"Do they think they are here for a dinner and our boss will bring them food as a host for the dinner?" One of the goons asked another.

"I am sorry to keep you two waiting for so long. My favourite food stall had quite the customers today. Here, I did not know what you two like, so I bought all my favourites." A grating voice followed by a fat and stout man with his hair parted from mid, entered the room just as the goon finished speaking. The man carried a plastic bag which supposedly had his favourite food and was followed by rest of his subordinates.

Kai and Rain "-_-"

"Boss!" The two goons kept as guard stood alertly at once with funny expressions on their faces. It was not sure whether they called out of respect or surprised at his actions.

Their boss seemed to read his underlings thoughts. He showed his crooked smile and said in a sinister voice, trying to intimidate others "Come-on, it is the first time that we are having a girl over at our place ever since coming to this business. We need to show some sort of courtesy to our first female guest. We cannot be rude to her and keep her on empty stomach."

The two goons nodded, understanding their boss's intentions.

Rain and Kai however were not a least bit fazed by this. Kai even found the boss's so called sinister voice funny.
