I'm Not The Man Of The Past.

"CEO Yi, the receptionist informed me that there's a woman waiting to get interviewed. According to her, the woman is here to apply as a secretary." Fu Jing informed his boss; Hao Yi.

Hao Yi raised his head up using his hand to support his jaw.

"What's the name of the applicant?" Hao Yi inquired.

"Ping Ming, that's her name." Fu Jing hurriedly replied.

On hearing the name of his fiancee, he let out a mischievous smile. Fu Jing couldn't figure out the reason for his boss's smile.

Hao Yi knew that Ping Ming could never hide from him although after finding out about the intimate intercourse he had with Ling Fei, she relocated to a place that was far from his reach.

Ling Fei knew that Hao Yi would never submit to her after she seduced him in his office. The man had already fallen in love with Ping Ming her ex best friend.

Instead when Ping Ming went on a vacation,she went to Hao Yi's house knowing fully well that Ping Ming would be absent. Ling Fei tried seducing him again but it was a failed attempt instead she drugged him without him knowing.

Hao Yi would never succumb to Ling Fei's seduction with his clear eyes but after what happened he really can't change the past, instead he'll prove to his beloved that he's already a changed man and not the man of the past.

"Tell Ms. Ming that I'll be the one to carry out the interview." Hao Yi thought for a while. If she knew that he'd be the one to carry out the interview, will she run away? "Just tell her that the CEO would be the one to carry out the interview instead of mentioning my name." Hao Yi firmly instructed.

" Your wish is my command CEO Yi." Fu Jing nodded and left Hao Yi's office.

"She can't run away from me this time." He let out a sigh of relief and continued checking out for vacant post.

He wasn't really going to interview her. Hao Yi's plan was to apologize for his wrong behavior. The apology he gave out before, she clearly didn't recommend that so he was going to do it again and confess his love to her.

Fu Jing arrived at the Visitors Room were Ping Ming was waiting patiently to get the interview done.

He met the patiently waiting woman playing games with her phone, with a headphone covering her ears.

"Miss Ming..." Fu Jing stressed her name making his presence known to her.

Ping Ming saw an handsome looking man, dressed in a casual attire. He was wearing a pair of navy blue suit with his necktie well arranged. She pulled her headphone down to her neck to pay attention to the handsome looking man.

"Yes,that's me." She responded to his call of her name. " Are you the interviewer? I've been waiting for hours now." Ping Ming shrugged her shoulders.

"No I'm not. I'm the CEO's personal assistant." Fu Jing adjusted his necktie.

"..."

"The CEO would be the one to carry out the interview instead." Fu Jing did exactly as he was instructed.

"Is that so. Then you and your CEO should make it snappy. You can't keep me waiting forever." Ping Ming sneered. She was now loosing her patience.

"Miss Ming, the CEO would be here before you know it." Fu Jing implied.

"I'm already here." Hao Yi entered the room unannounced. Ping Ming didn't recognize that the man that had just came into the room was Hao Yi.

Hao Yi's was also dressed in a casual outfit but his suit was black. He was also wearing a sunglass so that Ping Ming would not recognize him that easily.

His broad shoulders and masculine statue could make a woman crumble on her knees. His black shoe was well polished and could show the reflection of a person, making it look more like a mirror. He's a tall and his figure rendered Ping Ming utterly speechless.

"Fu Jing, you can leave us now." He gave out a firm order to Fu Jing who left immediately as he was ordered. Hao Yi sat opposite the numb woman.

"Are you the CEO of this outstanding company?" Ping Ming couldn't help but to ask.

" Yes I am." Hao Yi tried to play along with her. How come she didn't remember him? It's been a year and some months now that they've departed.

" Let's proceed with the interview then." Ping Ming suggested. "Here's my application form." She dropped the form in the table that was separating her and Hao Yi.

"I'm not actually here to interview you." He removed his sunglass and dropped it on the table.

"Hao...Hao Yi?!" Ping Ming shuttered in disbelief. She would have fallen for this handsome man if he wasn't Hao Yi.

"Aren't you happy to see me? You didn't actually recognized me anymore." Hao Yi teased.

"What do you want from me?" She became so uncomfortable on her seat. She really has nothing to do with him anymore after what he did.

"Ping, here me out. I came here to apologize for my nonchalant behavior. I just wanted to apologize to you in person rather than to do it on phone." Hao Yi calmly explained.

Ping Ming could tell that he was genuinely sorry. She became dumbstruck...She wanted to object but nothing seemed to come out from her mouth.

"I can't cheat on you and you know that. I was drugged by that slut. You know you're the only one I have here in my heart." He said, pointing the left side of his chest.

"That's enough already. I'm I getting the job or not?" Ping Ming asked almost rudely.

"Ping, I really can't bear to live alone. Accept me once again and let's renew our relationship. I'm not the man of the past." Hao Yi took her left hand using his thumb to rub her palm.

"You want us to renew the relationship?" She retorted.

" Yes darling, if only you give me a chance."

" My condition goes like this; I found out that Ling Fei is working here as your manager, I want you to fire her this instant. I want you to cut ties with her." Ping Ming said with a serious tone, folding her arms across her chest.

" Is that all you want? I'll get it done as soon as possible." Hao Yi reluctantly agreed to her condition.

"It's settled then." She smiled sheepishly. She knew that if Ling Fei was fired her only source of income would be cut off. Ping Ming didn't care about Ling Fei anymore but her condition was rather harsh.

"I also want you to continue living with me." Hao Yi grinned.

" That'll be starting from next week since this week is about to end." Ping Ming bluntly said without hesitation.

Hao Yi brought out his phone and placed a call to Fu Jing. Fu Jing answered the call of his boss without any hesitation.

"Fu Jing, I want you to arrange a sack letter for Ms. Ling Fei and also the document of the new secretary." Hao Yi said over the phone with a serious tone. He wasn't going to loose Ping Ming this time around.

"Alright boss. Anything else?" Fu Jing asked.

"No, that'll be all for now." Hao Yi simply said and hung up.

Ping Ming was so happy that finally she has gotten rid of the woman who seduced and drugged her fiance.

Hao Yi motioned her to stand up and gave her a hug. He was really happy to have her back.

"Thanks for accepting me back Ping." Hao Yi smiled broadly at her.

"It was all your fault though. When can I start?" She said still in his embrace. She really missed a moment like this.

" By weekend which is tomorrow. I'll show you to your office, I made it close to mine." He chuckled and led her out of the Visitors Room.
