Chapter 50: Love Story

Spring settled over campus nearly a month ago, but there is still a chill in the air. There is no longer a dusting of snow on the ground, and there are only a few dead leaves remaining on the trees. Those leaves won’t be there for long though. Spring midterms are over and done with and the time to sign up for summer clubs and groups is now.

The time has practically flown by this semester. Between classes, performances, and spending time with Felix, I am booked solid from now until I graduate.

I would not have it any other way.

The time I spend performing is now, in my opinion, making a difference. It took some convincing, but Mom finally backed me up when I said I wanted to do more charity concerts and donate proceeds to different causes that I believe in. Specifically, many of the funds go to The Pack and the police department.
