Of course, Leigh and Aurora can see the significance of the throwing of my 12-sided die.

"God, Lady Luck, whatever or whoever greater power in this universe… they seem to favor us all now," Leigh comments.

"They've seen that we have suffered enough, and decided to give us all our much-needed break," Aurora follows.

And I conclude...

"But they've just laid out the red carpet for us three. The real final battle… as Luisa calls it… is about to begin.

"So… we should enjoy the most out of this vacation and face those personal demons that are our greatest enemies."

They firmly nod in agreement.

We then spend the rest of the week taking in the scenic views and the quiet environment of Darien, Georgia.

And then, one day, in our sleep…
