Reus looked around him and noticed he couldn't go beyond the fog no matter how many times he tried

'Let's just see inside the house instead...'

Reus sighed and decided to go inside the middle sized wooden house instead to find any possible solution to his current situation

Reus slowly walked inside the wooden house through the wooden door and as soon as Reus entered his first step inside the room

Reus felt a whole new sensation throughout his body and a shivers ran down his body or whatever was here

Reus looked around and noticed a man who was still quite handsome for living in such a shabby looking house staring at his direction coldly

Reus immediately recalled the dark figure he had fought to death just now

"Papa? What are you looking at in the air?"

But just as Reus felt he had been noticed by the man suddenly a little girl about 9 or 10 with open black hairs suddenly called the man staring at Reus's direction

The man immediately moved his gaze away and said with a happy and little awkward face "Haha nothing butter.. I thought someone would enter our house here..."

The girl just waved off his excuse and replied "Whatever, you and your imagination, we are getting late! Let's go, we need to prepare the cake before mama wakes up!!!"

The man nodded and immediately followed his daughter back with flowers in air

'Fuu~ I almost thought I got caught...'

Reus also sighed in relief but suddenly the man turned back to look at Reus's direction again

"Yes! Commander!"

The man also replied while enjoying good roleplay, the girl nodded with a grin and rushed inside the room

Reus was still feeling warm but as soon as the door of the room closed again Reus once again felt the shivers

The five swords once again rise from the shadows and next moment the man tossed all the decorations into air all at once

And next all the decorations got stuck to the walls all at once through those flying swords

'Goddammit...'

Reus just barely avoided a sword that passed right by his face and looked back at man with horror visible in his

Both the man and little girl congratulated the woman with extremely bright faces and exploded some celebratory materials in air to create sparkles in air

The woman seemed quite surprised but next moment she also bursted into a happy smile and said

"Ah! Thank you so much! Kyaa! You two are so cool!!!"

Both man and his daughter seemed quite smug about this compliment and just nodded with similar poses

The woman just smiled seeing their cute faces and took a knife to cut the cake and first shared it with her daughter followed by the man

The whole family seemed to be enjoying the day, the man and his wife had a little dance then the man and his daughter

The place was literally filled with joy, this was the peak of life that every man dreamed of at least once in his life

Reus smiled and also enjoyed all this warmth with smile on his face, everything was going well

Or so was Reus thinking until suddenly an arrow pierced through the window of room targeting the wife of the man

Reus immediately reacted but with his body that seemed to be made up of fog he couldn't stop of arrow

But the man easily managed to stop the arrow with just his bare hands

He looked back at the head of arrow and all warmth he had suddenly became cold and he crushed the arrow while gritted his teeth

"Damn... Fallen Kingdom bastards... Devils are really seeking death..."

The man gave his wife and signal, his wife also seemed to understand the situation but the daughter was still clearly confused right now

"Hey! Papa! What was that?!"

The daughter questioned but before she could do anything the wife immediately dragged her back to the room

And before the door of room closed the man gave her a warm smile and said

"Everything is okay sweety... Papa will be back!"

The door closed and as the door closed the man also disappeared in air and what was left in the place was an open door

Reus gritted his teeth with deep shock and feeling of helplessness and immediately rushed out and as he came out Reus noticed all fog had disappeared

And he was in the middle of a forest, but he could feel them too, the whole forest was currently filled uncountable number of beings who seemed to human but their aura was clearly evil

It was a similar but superior presence than the cultists Reus had fought till now and another thing was that

'...they are strong...'

The guys surrounding the house were not mere canon holders, each seemed to be strong as Tier 7 beings

All the pitch black swords floated right on his back but there was one more giant sword in his hand as he looked at all beings hiding or standing all over the forest

The clear dark blue aura was now covering his whole body with both eyes shining in completely cold frosty blue eyes

"You are dead... Dead Bastards!!!"

Next moment that man made a beautiful slash over the ground and one horizontal slash at the surrounding

Two cresent moon like arcs of deep blue sword aura rushed all over his surrounding

The whole forest and trees were wiped out within a flash, and as far as eyes can see the whole place was filled with endless fallen trees and blood

"Well not like I expected you to fall..."

Reus's gaze also moved to air where thousands of humunoid figures were slowly landing towards the man with swords with both eyes shining in red light
