Storm Brewing

Selena was inwardly jumping for joy when she heard Kanzaki accept her suggestion of going on a date but now that he accepted it was up to her where they were going to go and what time. Selena knew in her mind that Kanzaki was going to be busy all morning due to him practicing for the event which she didn't want to bother.

Selena knew that the event was very important to Kanzaki so she had no intention of trying to mess it up for him. Even though she knew she was an obsessive and jealous person she still wanted the best for Kanzaki at heart since the entire reason for all of her love is due to the fact she liked him so much.

"How about meeting me at that restaurant right there tomorrow night. I don't know the exact time yet but you can just text me the first time you're available." Selena said with a smile as she pointed across the street to a restaurant Kanzaki had never seen before.

"What kind of food do they have in there?" Kanzaki asked with curiosity. He was going to go with Selena to any restaurant she wanted but he still wanted to know what kind of food they would be eating so he knew how to dress properly.

"It's a sushi restaurant. We all sit in our own booth while a conveyor belt goes around in a circle to each table. You can pick up whichever one that you want and eat it before picking up another so it should be really fun." Selena said with obvious excitement in her voice.

Knowing how excited Selena seemed to be about this particular restaurant Kanzaki couldn't help but smile and agree, "That does sound really good. I will make sure my stomach is ready to try all sorts of new things." Kanzaki said in agreement while rubbing his belly as if he was super full or much larger than he actually was.

After that discussion, the two of them chatted for a while going back and forth on different topics of life. Selena and Kanzaki both learned a bunch of small things about each other that they had never taken the time to ask before like what each other's favorite movie is and things like that.

It was a peaceful moment for both of them but little did they know there was a cloud forming above them that could possibly turn into a thunderstorm.

"What do you mean he's dead?!" Todd shouted in shock as he got a phone call from the hospital. One of his close friends that he had known for many years Crasher or otherwise known as Zachary had been found dead in his apartment.

From what the doctor told him his cause of death was not even close to being accidental or natural. They said it was obvious he had been murdered and that the police would be looking into it to find the killer as soon as possible.

When Todd heard this information his body had gone into a state of blankness before he was brought back by the doctor on the phone, "Yes, he has been killed and on his paperwork it said that you were the one to call if anything happened. This may not be the time to tell you this but the police told me that they found his will that he had hidden away, He gave all of his stuff to you so if you don't mind coming soon to the station at your discretion to sign for all your new things." The doctor said before giving their condolences and hanging up.

Todd was at a loss for words since he had never expected something like this to happen to someone close to him ever. Todd was your normal individual that spent a little too much time inside but besides that, there should be no reason for someone close to him to be killed. As Todd was going across this thought he remembered when Zachary had called him a few days prior asking him to look into one specific streamer.

Zachary had asked him to look into Mask who was also someone Todd had been looking at already. Not only was he a rising star in the streaming world but his moderator was also a person of interest in his mind. Todd and his group had delved deep into the information on his moderator trying to figure out why they wanted to learn information on Rose13 but could never come to a solid conclusion.

The only thing that they did know for certain was that she loved Mask's streams a lot. No matter how late or how long a stream was his moderator would always be there chatting in the box below while also banning anyone that dared to say anything remotely rude to him.

His mod was the perfect mod that would incite the greed of many other streamers if they could get their hands on someone like that. Some streamers that watched Mask actually took the time to message his moderator and ask if they were willing to work for a different streamer but the streamers were always rejected.

Even the chats that the moderator sent out during the stream showed how much they liked Mask and from Todd's perspective, Mask had no idea about this. Since he had left his moderator in charge of his chat he only glanced at it from time to time to respond to some people while also thanking donations. For some reason, he was never even able to get a glimpse of some of the messages the moderator sent.

Todd has asked Zachary the reason why he wanted to know information on Mask but he never really answered what specifically made the request come about. While Todd was researching he made sure to check out the reason why Zachary was looking into such a thing and was shocked by what he saw.

Rose13 had completely dipped on Zachary when he was the slightest bit rude to Mask which shocked Todd. He knew that they had been playing together recently which was good even for him since he saw a new side of her he had never seen before but at the same time she acted like she had known him for a long time which concerned Todd.
