Chapter 117: Each Event Has a Purpose

John was happy and hopeful as he found Sophia. However, on the other hand, Sophia was upset and confused with herself. Her mind kept recalling the intimate scene between them. It was near her heat period, and her body was more sensitive. That was why Sophia couldn't sleep that night. 

She tried to remember if she had met John in the past. Then, she recalled having met him eight years ago. Yes, it was always the same heartbeat when she saw him. Now, it was worse, as she already knew his touch. 

Sophia groaned and punched the grass. 'Why? Why can't I remember you? You know my name. You know about the necklace, but I didn't remember anything.'

Then, suddenly, the dark room was bright, too bright. It was even brighter than the sunlight. So, Sophia shut her eyes and blocked her eyesight as it was impossible for her to see anything. 

'Sophia, do you want your memories of John Matthew returned?'
