The wind blew hard. Henry hugged himself and took his jacket from the bag. After putting it on, he walked to Sunshine Forest. The more he thought about himself and John, the more he was sad and regretful. His father had never mistreated him. Even when Henry was naughty and difficult, John never beat him.
Henry few times heard his schoolmates talking about their cruel parents. Sometimes, his friends also shared about not present parents. John was always busy as he was an Alpha from so many packs. However, Henry knew John prioritized him all the time.
He recalled what his father had done, which brought his eyes to tears again. He had taken for granted all his father's kindness. It is true; regret always comes later. Henry wished he didn't ignore John's words. But, now, it was too late.
