Chapter 78: The Drama (1)

Giselda nodded. She rushed to the door, hearing from inside, then bent and peeped through the keyhole. Later, she approached Viona again. 

"Yes, Mommy, drama is what we need now." Giselda held Viona's hand and whispered. "You are the main character here. All you need to do is act as you do it for Lilly."

Viona frowned, then she understood. "You heard my conversation with your father."

"Yes, Mommy. It's time. I pray things will be different." Giselda sighed and shook her head. "But it seems we should do the drama."

"But I can't let Jock mark me." Viona's trembling hand lifted and touched her neck. "I can't let the killer of my mate and daughter be my mate."

"It's only a pretense, Mom. Please, trust me. You will know in time." Then Giselda smiled. "Zee and I pledged three years ago to protect you. Now, it's the time to fulfill it."

"I don't understand. What will you and Zee do?"
