"How could you not think that let me know you have returned? I am not like you to know who it is in the bathroom. I was scared," she poked his bare chest with her index finger for each word she spoke. She had never been more scared than now when she was in a castle full of demons.
"I am sorry," Killian held her hand to stop her from poking him. He pulled her close to him which she didn't fight against. "I won't do it again."
"You better not do it again or I won't speak to you for a whole day. I thought," she started but didn't finish her sentence.
"I know. I am sorry," he ran his fingers through the softness of her hair to calm her down. He heard the quick pace of her heart which had not calmed down yet. Killian didn't intend to scare her. He went straight to the bathroom to fill it with water before going back to her. "I will be more mindful next time."
