Chapter 13: What if I Can’t Stop Loving Him?

A couple of days after Lacey arrived in town, Cade was yet again bombarded by his brother’s presence. This time, however, he’d also brought their buddy, Devon’s little brother Josh, along for the mission.

Cade had just settled his mini-feud with Devon about Cade’s relationship with Fiona when Kieran waltzed back in with his father’s opinions on his love life. He was adamant on the fact that it was too dangerous to have one.

But between the team he and Fiona had assembled to find a cure, Cade was hopeful that he would get to have a normal life and he just wanted his friends to support that.

“How about we take off for the night?” Devon suggested. “We’ve been at it for three whole days without a break.

“Yeah,” Josh agreed. “I’m interested in the pack life here and we’ve barely seen any of it. Is it true that it’s all underground?”
