All Alone

It's been over a month since Jason broke up with Layla and since then she has not seen or heard from him.

She has been getting updates about his well-being from Mason. And she knows that his grandmother has been staying with him most of the time helping him out and that his family is in search of a housekeeper for him, as they are about to move him to a much larger apartment, one that is better accessible with a wheelchair.

The last time Mason gave her an update, he told her Jason had already begun physical therapy. Even though they were no longer together, Layla felt happy for him.

The first week after they broke up, Layla would cry herself to sleep every night and she didn't go to school or therapy. But after a while, she learned to pick up her life and tried to move on.
