The Greenhouse (Two)

That's right. Allen's grandparents from his father's side are both working in Science. His grandfather was a Geologist, and his grandmother was a Marine Biologist residing in Alaska, while his grandparents on his mother's side were working in Africa as volunteers. Both from medicine and helping cultivate the land for the locals to harvest something as a free meal. 

Therefore, Allen can inherit what his family is passionate about, which she thinks is good.

However, she wondered why he was such a bully when his elders were kind-hearted. Maybe Allen got this behavior from his ancestors, whereas from a royal bloodline.

Oh, well… She should not forget that Hendrik was also a super-duper annoying guy when they were younger. He loves to prank anyone, and she was a victim a few times, with her twin brother as his accomplice. And even Angela should not forget that this sister once pulled a prank on her by sending her straight to Allen's bedroom.

They are siblings indeed!

Violet shook her head, shrugging off the unnecessary thoughts about last time. She was working hard to bury that incident.

But Violet could not stop being flustered thinking about how Allen grabbed her bath towel around her body, leaving her naked. Although it's just an accident, it still infuriates her when she recalls that.

Allen noticed Violet's face darkened. Thus, he wondered what was running on her pretty head.

"So? Would you like to look around while I take my shower?"

"Okay." Violet nodded without a second thought, agreeing immediately for Allen to leave so that she could calm down.

"I'll call Randy to show you around," said Allen, then calling out Randy to introduce the Robot to her.

"Huh?" She thought that Allen was referring to the one she knew. But it turns out it was a robot wearing a printed kitten pink apron tied around his body.

Violet was speechless. 'What the heck?'

She had several robots she purchased from Crow Tech. But the one that appeared before her was something she could not explain what she would feel. Or maybe because the Robot is grinning at her.

[Hello, mom!] Randy greeted her with glee. 

Violet was dumbfounded when the Robot addressed her that way. "Who are you calling, mom?"

[Eh?? You are Keisha's mom, right? Can I call you mom as well?]

The Robot acts cute, blinking his eyes.

Violet was speechless again. She looked at Allen with a murdering stare. 'What kind of robot have you created this time?'

Allen could only smile awkwardly. He was also surprised when Randy shamelessly requested Violet to call her mom. If only Violet wasn't here and Randy behaved like this, he would immediately dismantle him. Thus, Allen throws a warning glare at Randy not to mess up his game plan.

"Please, don't mind him. I installed a program to act like a brother to Keisha." Allen chuckled nervously. Deep down, he wanted to kick Randy out of his laboratory. But he still needs him for later.

Meanwhile, Violet was confused when she heard this name several times now.

"Who's Keisha are you referring to?"

Allen and Randy look at each other. Soon, Violet felt that something was rubbing her feet. She lowered her head and checked her feet to surprise.

A kitten is rubbing on her heels.

"Oh. It's you!" Violet exclaimed.

[Yes! It's Keisha, mom! Ow!]

Randy the Robot was hit by Allen on the back of the head. 'Shameless!'

The Robot laughs nervously when his creator gives him murderous glares. Thus, he rushed toward Violet to escape from his wrath.

Randy the Robot picked up the kitten and gave it to Violet. She took Keisha hesitantly. But the kitten looked so cute, and she could not resist adoring her.

"Ah, I've almost forgotten about you!" Violet muttered in a low voice. She barely remembered this kitten because she didn't own her in the first place, but one of her staff.

After the day, Allen took the kitten, and its owner was searching in the evening. She just heard about it the following day. Thus, she explained to her staff that a client had grown fond of the kitten and brought her home.

To cover her embarrassment for what Allen did, she offered compensation to that owner to buy another kitten. She learned her staff planned to give it to her mother.

Now that she remembered this, Violet frowned. She cast a sidelong glance at Allen and said, "I had to pay the owner when you kidnap her kitten."

Seductively, Allen smiled like he didn't feel any guilt; instead, he was delighted that Keisha was officially their kitten.

"Then, thanks! I promised I'll take care of her like our daughter!"

Violet furrowed her brows. Muttering inwardly, 'What is this guy talking about?'

[I would take care of Keisha too, mom!]

Violet was astounded, looking at Allen and Randy.

She'd realized the Robot was as shameless as his creator. She does not care about the kitten that much. But how Allen behaved and this Robot, it was as if they assumed they were the kitten's parents.

'What he up to?'

Violet peeked at Keisha. She was purring and rubbing her forehead on her arm. Somehow, she found the kitten charming.

"Alright. Do you want to come with us?" Violet lifted Keisha and spoke to her. The kitten meowed as it seemed to understand her.

She smiled while she placed the kitten on her left arm while her right hand was holding at the railings, descending to the ground floor to stroll around the greenhouse.

Before Randy left, Allen winked at the Robot. Randy instantly raised his hand and gestured an "okay" sign to his master.

'I must perfect my job to please the master!' Randy thought while he followed Violet down the stairs, down to the greenhouse.

Watching Violet's back, Allen pursed his lips into a playful smile. While Randy toured Violet around, he must prepare as well. Looking at the time on his phone, he muttered to himself,

"They'll be here soon."

Someone was at the door, and Allen was nowhere to be found.

"Allen! Someone at the door!"

"Can you open it, please? Maybe it was Laney!"

Violet frowned. Now she has become his servant?

'Where is his AI, anyway?' She noticed Allen had been running around his lab without relying on his AI to do something for him, such as opening the door.

Helpless, Violet walked to the door. She searched for a button to check the monitor if the person at the doorstep was Laney, but to no avail; she could not find another button aside from open and close.

Violet presses the open button just to be shocked to see the people at the doorsteps.

"Violet?"

"Dad!?"

Theo was shocked to see his daughter opening the door barefoot and only wearing a man's t-shirt.

'What is going on here!?'
