Violet tried to process the news she had heard. She would like to believe that it is a prank. But the gentle look in her dad's eyes and his charming face told her that what she heard was correct.

'Jeez, dad!' When he said, he was an excellent cook, that actually pointed out him as a baker, as her mom now has a bun in the oven! 'So that was what he meant!'

Violet rolled her eyes. Now she understood why her mom smacked her dad on the back when he was too boastful earlier.

"So, mom hasn't menopause yet?" That was more likely a whisper. She doesn't want to embarrass her mom, who's in her early fifties, but still, she got pregnant.

Her mom still looks young and fit, but Violet wondered if it would be safer to get pregnant at this age.

"Middle-aged women having menopausal babies delivered safely was something she heard about. So, it may be okay." Observing his daughter's reaction, Theo smiled and explained, "According to your Aunt Yonah, she might be soon …."

Yonah Ryan is a family friend who has taken care of her mom since her first pregnancy—that was her and Seth. Until now, she was still the family OB-Gyne.

"So? Aunt Yonah already warned Mom about her menopausal period. But it turned out it would not happen soon..."

Theo nodded to confirm and said, "That's right. We thought it would be soon. So your mom and I did it without any protection and safety measures…."

Theo was delighted to hear a positive response from her daughter. He knew Violet was sensible and would understand them.

She was embraced tight by her dad. Violet smiled and said, "Take care of mom. It will be a risk at her age."

"Yeah. We must watch your mom's pregnancy, avoid giving her stress, and include traveling overseas. Besides, your mom wanted to stay here in Remy Town so that she could accompany your grandma while she's resting."

"That's great then! She would not get bored, and she could have a walk around the garden and breathe fresh air. She could often visit the flower farm too if she wanted to do small work!"

She shook her head and said, "I'm the grateful one that I could be useful to our family. Congrats, dad."

"Thanks, big sis..."

Violet could only smile at that. It felt weird that someone would call her sister when she almost hit her thirties. It's alright if it was just some stranger, but this one is her sibling.

"Did my brothers know about this?" she asked her dad.

"No. Your mom and I told you first. Well, honestly... we plan to spill the news to all of you simultaneously if it's not for the storm."

"Right." She nodded her head and exhibited an understanding gaze in her eyes. "Surely, my brothers will be surprised at first. But they would be glad to hear the news."

"They would give me weird expressions on their faces, that for sure, and it's understandable. It was an unexpected blessing."

"Blessing indeed, dad!" said Violet with glee. At the back of her head, muttering, 'Well, maybe it's a sign that I should have forgotten my crazy idea of having in-vitro.'

But another thing Violet was concerned about, aside from working with Allen.

It was her assassination. She wondered if her parents would be safer in the White House Garden.

What if her enemies come and attack the garden once again?

'It looks like I'm better off away from my parents and let my assassins chase me around. Therefore, I should purchase the latest weapons for my bodyguards and upgrade Flora's sensor to detect all kinds of droids. Most of all, Flora needs a body soon.'
