"Calm yourself." Joshua said as he knelt down to get at her eye level. "You are okay now; the monsters are all gone."
The woman looked behind Joshua and saw the ashes. "You are saving me?" She asked, her voice cracking, worn out from her yelling earlier. "I didn't think anyone would save me. My friends, they… they died." Her eyes started to well up as she was losing the battle with her own emotions.
She felt relief, fear, rage, sorrow, and a gambit of other emotions all at the same time.
Joshua stood back up. "Are you all able to go back out of the dungeon?"
"I can manage." The pregnant woman said as she got back to her feet. "Looks like the path is pretty clear." She pointed to the large clear path that Joshua had cut through the forest from the entrance. "Seems like you were as delicate as a raging stampede of monsters. Should be easy for us to leave."
