As the girls awoke the first person they saw was Joshua, casually sitting on the ground with his back leaning against a log, the dying campfire's flames barely visible against the dawning sun. Their eyes changed, both of them now had red irises. Joshua smiled. "Good morning you two." He said with a slight wave.
"Ugh what happened?" Tilly said while she rubbed her head and got off the ground. "My head feels like I smashed into a wall, repeatedly."
"I know the feeling." Doreen replied as she too got up from the dirt. "This is the worst hangover I have ever had. Just what was in that drink anyway?"
"You really don't want to know." Joshua said. "Trust me."
"I am going to take your word on that." Tilly said. "So, this is what it feels like to be a demon huh?"
"I don't really feel any different." Doreen said.
"Nor do I." Tilly said. "Did it not work?"
"It worked." Joshua said. "Your eyes both tell me that it worked. How did you think being a demon would feel?"
