For a short period of time, Neveah stared in silence at the chest and the lid that was partly opened. Then she pushed through lid open further, there were about a dozen scrolls neatly arranged within the shelf and a few volumes and journals too.
The contents were not as many as Neveah had expected, but then again seeing as they were the thoughts and musings of Asrig and not historical records, there was only so much time a man such as Asrig had been would find freedom to journal.
Neveah would know, she had gotten a taste of just how tasking journaling could be in the past few months.
The scrolls were piled up on the volumes and journals and there were all within a case of their own. Neveah could tell from these little signs that Asrig had been an extremely cautious and suspicious man and men who had such traits would intentionally and unintentionally inflict trauma on those around them.
