Locked up

This sentence that was said as if not having any care of the world have caused a heavy casualty towards the whole group. They are too shocked to refute and hastily checked their bodies. 

The men opened up their shirt and pat their stomachs. Nothing. No pain. No wounds. The girls have slip their hands beneath their clothes and patted their stomach. There's nothing that would tell them otherwise. 

But just as how quickly the youngster with tattoo lost his life, that's also how quickly they will lose theirs if they are not careful. 

Lucien observed everyone's reaction. He waited for the scenes to slowly unfold itself. The dead has resurfaced. Surely, one of them with some sense will try to investigate the sequence of events. 

However, nobody moved. 

The young girls were frightened out of their wits. They hug each other and tried to silence their whimpers, but because nobody was speaking, their whimpers can be heard by everyone.
