Creating core departments...

Later that night Aarv held a meeting between all his trusted allies. The main topic of the meeting was to make plans for the future development of the territory.

Aarv looked at the crowd in front of him and said,

"The first and foremost thing we have to do is to explore the surrounding mountains. Because this is an earlier Iron age period, the mountains are filled with tigers and leopards. Who will take responsibility for exploring the nearby mountains..?"

Mountains were the best resource generating places in the territory, so Aarv placed special attention on exploring the mountains.

After hearing Aarv's words, there was a moment of silence before one skinny man raised his hand and said,

"I will take responsibility for exploring the mountain…"

The skinny man was Rahul Bhil. As his surname suggested, he was from the Bhil tribe among all the Adivasi tribes. Adivasis as their name suggested, were people living inside the jungles and only coming out when they needed to trade something. They have mastered the art of living and travelling in dense tropical jungles in India.

Aarv looked at Rahul and nodded, he knew that this task was made for Rahul.

"Okay, you will take full responsibility for exploring the surrounding mountains. You can take 50 men with you. Remember your life is more important than exploration."

Rahul bowed to Aarv and said,

"Yes, young master…"

After solving the issue of exploring, Aarv then turned his attention towards the other matter which was managing the resources and administration.

" Now I will announce 4 new departments which will handle their respective field of work. The first one will be the resource department. It will handle all the resources like food, cloth, materials and lands etc."

He then looked toward Prahi and said,

"Prahi will lead the resource department."

"The next department will be the Planning and construction department, it will handle all the construction works inside the city. It will be under uncle Dhruv's hands…"

Aarv looked at the old man who showed him the city blueprint earlier and nodded.

"The last two departments will be the defence department and research department. I will personally handle the defence department while the research department will be handled by Rani and John collectively…"

After announcing his four core departments, Aarv gave a specific order to call Rama Koli inside the meeting room.

After Rama Koli entered the meeting room, Aarv asked him curiously,

"Rama, do you have contacts with your Koli tribe…?"

This sudden question startled Rama… he did not expect to be questioned. He embarrassingly replied,

"I do have contacts with my tribe…"

Seeing a positive reply, Aarv continued with his plan,

"Good… tell your tribe people to transfer over to my territory. They will get 1 copper coin per kg of fish they capture in the sea."

Aarv gave all the people of the Koli tribe a huge offer. But in reality, it was just his plan to make more money. While 1 copper coin seemed a huge price, If they could sell the fish in a city like Delhi they could even sell it for 50 copper coins.

Aarv looked towards Prahi, both devilishly smiling at each other.

"I will immediately tell my fellow tribesmen."

Rama Koli hurriedly left the meeting hall towards his sailing boat.

The next problem that Aarv faced was upgrading his village. He looked at the village upgrade quest in front of him.

[

Village Upgrade Quest:

1. village population = 75/1,000

2. Setup a weekly bazaar

]

His first problem was the population problem. His legendary village gave him 50 NPC villagers every day which would take 20 days to reach the upgrade standards. But, Aarv wanted to reach the population limit faster and he also didn't want to fill his territory with players. There was only one option left for him which was to increase his village's reputation. Making the NPC villagers from different regions come and settle in his village.

Aarv thought for a while before saying,

"Start constructing houses beforehand… the resource department will send envoys to different NPC villages around… tell them that there is a new city being built which is grander than the capital city with a lot of job opportunities…"

Resource department head Prahi nodded and took her orders. As the saying goes, curiosity gets the best out of us, people should come to see the newly built city.

After solving the present problems for a while, Aarv ended the meeting and logged out of the game.

As he came into the real world, he noticed that just over 4 hours had passed while he was in-game for more than 12 hours. Aarv shook his head as he walked out of his room to find dada.

He wanted to form the fifth core department in his territory, 'The Secret Department…'.
