"Smart move Jake. You deserve a reward for this work of yours," Adam suggested.

Jake smirked while crossing his two legs together. He clenched both hands together and gazed at Adam.

"A reward you say? Well, the only reward I need now is food. I'm really hungry. So I don't mind if you get that for me, Adam," Jake stated.

Adam chuckled at Jake's demand. He nodded briefly and said, "You will eat some day. Just don't worry about it."

Jake frowned at Adam's decision. He crossed his arms across his chest with his eyes still gazing at Adam. Adam could see the way Jake was gazing. It only made him laugh at Jake.

"I can't wait for this 'some day' you speak of Adam. Honestly, I'm starving. I don't know why I didn't carry something to eat while leaving my house," Jake complained.
