"I know this isn't the right time for this Max. But, I would like to join the team. Is there still room for me on your team?" Jessica asked.

This was unexpected. A last-minute surprise to Max. He never knew that Jessica would change her mind at the last minute when they were about to leave. Max was pleased.

"So, can I?" Jessica asked again.

She was waiting for Max's response.

"Wait a minute. I thought you said you didn't like the idea. What made you change your mind?" Max questioned.

"I was about to ask her the same question," Jake supported.

Both Max and Jake had their arms crossed, as they gazed at Jessica. Jessica frowned at them back.

"What? Can't someone have a change of mind? Look, I thought about it last night, so I decided to join the team. Now, will you give me your answer or not?" Jessica's eyes fell on Max.
