"How do you feel?" Lin Yi stopped and asked Zhao Yinian.
"It's alright. I can still go on." Zhao Yinian said.
"But I don't think I can hold on for too much longer. My legs are a little sore. There's a gentle slope ahead. Can I rest there for a while?"
Lin Yi looked ahead. The slope was about twenty meters ahead of him.
"Come on, let's go get some rest."
Ten minutes later, the two of them arrived at the gentle slope. Zhao Yinian sat on the ground and started rubbing her calf, hoping that it would ease the tightness. She didn't want to drag Lin Yi down.
"Any signs of oxygen deprivation?"
"I don't think so." Zhao Yinian said.
"But it's strange. I find this a little unbelievable. I originally wanted you to head up first while I slowly climbed the mountain behind you. It's not bad if I got second place, but I didn't expect to really keep up with you."
