CHAPTER 2

"Hey, I'm talking to you."

A well-dressed young girl in her twenties stated this while pointing with her magical stick towards Oliva.

Oliva rolled her eyes and walked past them. They stopped her by the academy gate, and she gave them her red eye, but the two girls laughed; they were psychos.

"I did what you told me to last time, so let me in."

Oliva said she knew that those were looking for drama. A fine-looking man of thirty-one years approached them. He raised his glass and said:

"Rama and Missa, don't you have any lessons right now?"

Rama muttered while gazing at Oliva with her anger. Missa followed Rama, and she cursed Oliva, who said nothing.

"Thanks, Sir"

She bowed, her eyes matched his, and the sleepy eyes of him made her curious about what if this man was really just a friend of her imagination or just jumped out of nowhere.

"I want to die."

She thought and looked at the cloudy sky. She was the prettiest girl in her academy. Her bitter smile at how overwhelming her life was arose on her face, which got pale and unhappy.

"I'm here, sis."

Viola waved her hand. She asked Oliva to join them at their gathering, but she refused and hurried to the library.

"If I didn't have the high score on the magical show, my dad would tear me to pieces if Kiderak did not kill me first."

Oliva mouthed, and her eyes fell on a sentence from a strange book that talked about myths.

"Beneath the wings of the darkness, a heart of lightning light will lead you to the stars; give me your life."

His voice was quiet, she smiled at him, and his green hair and calm features always told her she was safe with him.

"I thought you were on a mission."

Oliva stated, They headed to the library's garden to have a comfortable conversion. He leaned his back against the wall.

"Not yet; I want to see you before I go on that death-full path."

He said her perfume was special; he got numbed by her sweet smile; he fell for her, but he wasn't more than a friend to her.

"Mathyo, you're a fool. Going to Kunsland is the dreaming mission for everyone. I can't believe you didn't go. You have to be serious at least on this."

Oliva was so surprised. Mathyo was the first student from her class who had graduated before his time. He was more talented.

"I'm serious about you, Oliva, and my dream is to have you."

His words were soft, but Oliva had a rock-solid heart. She lowered her gaze and then sadly smiled.

"I'm sorry, Mathyo, you're my friend, no more."

Mathyo got a little pissed off; this was her only answer every time he confessed his feelings to her.

"Why not Oliva?

Why can't we be lovers?"

His voice was high enough to let the students gather around them.

"I'm already in love with someone else. Is it fine now?"

Oliva lied, as she noticed their conversion might go wrong.

Mathyo nodded his head. He knew that she was not telling him the truth, so he left her talking with her sister, who was shocked by her confusion about loving someone.

"You're kidding, girl; you don't know what love is; stop acting cool."

Viola followed Oliva, who had been in silence for an hour listening to her sister's silly theories that they would never fall in love.

"Not a word, I'm going home."

Oliva shouted, Viola fell down laughing at her; she wiped her tears, then said:

"What about your evening lessons?"

Oliva didn't answer her; she took the long road to her house. She stood by a cafe near her home.

"Oliva wait!"

Mathyo called, and he stopped her before she could get in to the cafe. She was nervous. She looked back many times, then whispered:

"What are you doing here?

Stop following me."

Mathyo ignored her; he made himself closer to her; he wanted one chance to prove his feelings.

His eyes were on the tall, handsome man who stood behind Oliva.

"Who's he?

His magical aura is  unnormal.

"Kide"

Oliva hissed, but she didn't face him. Kiderak pulled her to his chest while his eyes were challenging Mathyo to step once more.

"Who is this man, Oliva?"

Mathyo asked, and he dared to step once more closer to her. Oliva was stocked in between them.

Kiderak caressed her neck, and Mathyo was boiling to watch him touch his girl before his eyes.

"She's mine"

Kiderak's magical aura aroused him. He was amazed by this man's reaction; he might not know him.

"Oliva, who is this man?"

Mathyo repeated his questions with the hope that Oliva would say what he was eager to hear.

"Talk to me; let her out of this."

Kiderak was on his limits. Oliva gazed at the both of them. She closed her ears and yelled:

"Stop both of you."

She took off her hand from Kiderak and stood closer to Mathyo, who was glad by her reaction.

"He is the one that I told you about above, Mathyo. This is Prince Kiderak, my future husband, my love."

Her words melted Kiderak's heart; he didn't expect her to say such things. Mathyo stepped back.

"Prince Kiderak himself, no way."

Mathyo hesitated to look at Kiderak, who tangled Oliva's hands and kissed her palm. Mathyo saw the fall of his dreams, all of which turned gray. Mathyo walked without feeling his surroundings.

Kiderak watched Oliva, who was sad to see him leaving. He dragged her to the cafe.

"Don't start. Listen to me first."

Oliva wiped her tears; she looked him in the eye, and for the first time, she gained the power to face him.

"His name is Mathyo; he is my friend."

Kiderak laughed. He walked to the table; he had already prepared the coffee for both of them.

"You're not my love; I said that to make him leave."

Oliva said Kiderak showed no reaction.

"That doesn't bother me; I was about to tear him apart if he said one more word."

Kiderak smiled; Oliva knew him well, and she stood closer to him.

"If I have to choose my partner's life, then Mathyo is the one."

Oliva felt him grab her neck; his eyes turned dark red, and his nerves stood.

"Shut up!

You're fucking mine,  clear.

He threw her to the floor; she hated it when he got angry and lost control of himself.

"You can obligate me to do anything, but loving you is impossible."

He wondered from where she had the power to talk him back.

"Get out of here before I..."

Oliva felt his strong killing welling, and she shuddered out of fear. He was as if someone else, and quickly she released herself from that place.

She fell on her bed; her mother was not in the house when she arrived.

"Now he will cancel our marriage proposal; I lied to both of them."

She covered her face to hide her falling tears.

"For God sake, I just want to have a normal life like any simple girl; I'm not in love with anyone."

She was cursing her beauty, and the moment she was born with this hot body, it made all those men fall for her.
