Civil War Part 14

After a moment of shock, the heroes quickly teamed up to stop Thor.
But at that moment someone was faster.
Rogue appeared above Thor's head and punched him using Juggernaut's strength.
This caused Thor to crash into the platform, producing a large crater.
Giving him no chance, and before Thor could get fully to his feet, Rogue delivered a powerful kick sending him flying and crashing into the rafters.
Rogue showed no mercy.
At that moment, a hammer headed towards Rogue from her blind spot but only passed through her body without harming her.
That was Shadowcat's power.
"Alex, take care of business here, I'm going to beat the shit out of this guy" Rouge said as she lunged at Thor who had just gotten up.
Alex doesn't say anything and starts walking towards Goliath's giant body.
The heroes had been stunned by the appearance of Alex and Rogue, but they quickly reacted, however, the two sides did not restart their combat but instead observed the movements of the two intruders.
"I thought you said you wouldn't get involved in our affairs" Stark said seriously.
"It's true, I had no intention of intervening and I was just going to observe, but your puppet got out of control and caused the death of one of their teammates, so I decided to solve your stupidity" Alex answered while taking out a syringe with a reddish liquid.
He sticks it into Goliath's thigh and injects him with the serum inside it.
At that moment, a scene occurs that leaves the minds of all the heroes going blank.
The big wound on Goliath's chest begins to heal with surprising speed.
When it finished closing, Goliath's eyes begin to tremble and after a few seconds he opens them. Following that, he starts coughing and looking around in confusion.
"Hey big guy, go back to your original size since you take up too much space and it would be better since you are currently weak" Alex said.
Still confused, he decides to return to his original size.
Looking at the surprised Stark, Alex says:
"Although I saved his life, his body is weakened from loss of energy, so make him stay in bed for 5 days"
The serum Alex used is one of the newer ones created in Genosha.
As long as the person has only been dead for less than five minutes from a serious injury, this serum can bring them back to life.
It is so special that its process to create it is very difficult, which is why there are only ten serums at the moment.
After seeing that Goliath is being attended to, Alex looks at Captain America's group and says:
"Go away, the battle here is over. But if you want to continue, I'll get involved"
Captain America is silent for a few seconds but then he nods his head and decides to give the order to retreat.
Stark wanted to say something, but Alex interrupts him saying:
"This matter got out of hand and now is not the time for this"
Stark just fell silent.
Using Cloak's powers, Captain America's group began to retreat.
But Alex ignored them and watched the battle between Thor and Rogue.

Thor had risen up and from the sky, he launched a powerful lightning bolt at Rogue, but she was undeterred and created a powerful psychic barrier that blocked the attack.
Taking advantage of this, Thor lunged at Rogue with his hammer.
That attack destroyed her psychic barrier but before the blow touched her body, Rogue teleported and reappeared a few meters from the attack site.
Thor looked around as his attack missed.
"I have to end this already" Rogue muttered as she pulled out a small dagger.
At high speed, she appears at Thor's side and without hesitation, using Shadowcat's powers, inserts the dagger into Thor's head leaving no visible wounds.
Once she withdraws her hand, Thor's body falls to the ground like a puppet with its strings cut.
The Pro-registration heroes are shocked by the battle and never thought that Mutant girl had so much power.
Alex just smiles seeing how Rogue finished the battle.
If it had been earlier, she would be very reluctant to end someone's life, only in matters like the destruction of A.I.M. she was determined.
But now she has put aside those doubts and she will not hesitate to kill someone who tries to destroy her peaceful life.
"I really respect you, Tony, Reed and Henry. Because once Thor came back, he won't be happy about what you did" Alex said to them with an amused smile.
The three people mentioned just frowned not fully understanding what Alex meant.
"Ragnarok is just a life cycle of Asgard, so Thor's «death» is just a break for a new day" Alex explained when he saw their doubts.
The three are surprised to understand Alex's words and sink into their thoughts.
"Destroy this project and don't do it again, don't be irrational like you were with the Hulk" Alex said to them coldly.
Reed Richards and Tony Stark wince and look at Alex in shock.
They wanted to say something, but Alex interrupts them by saying:
"Don't try to justify yourself to me, as I'm not interested and I don't care. I just came here to prevent tragedies, not to solve your problems"
The two of them just kept silent.
The other Pro-registration heroes were confused by their conversation as they didn't fully understand it, they just knew they were talking about something regarding the Hulk.
Alex didn't want to stay there anymore, so he quickly left the place with Rogue.
After all, he was not interested in their emotional problems.
