Celestial Madonna was the title given to Mantis Brandt because she was supposedly destined to have the Celestial Messiah.

These idiots may be a pacifist Kree sect, but their thinking was just too idiotic.

Raising a girl, imposing that fate on her just because of a prophecy and not letting her choose her path, is cruel.

Besides, the ones I despise the most are the Cotati, because they used the body of Swordsman, whom she loved, to have a child.

And when the child was born, they took him away from her.

Walking down the hall, I say to the girls:

"Becky and Domino, you guys go to the vault and find the book. Irene, Polaris, Natasha and I are going to see that supposed ceremony"

Psylocke and Domino nod in agreement and head to the vault.

And we head to the room where the ceremony is taking place.

"Why are we going to the ceremony?" Polaris asked as we walked

"I'm just curious" I said putting on the most innocent face I could.

The girls just roll their eyes.

Irene, who was walking silently beside us, stops as if she's in a daze.

Seeing this, I realized that she is having a vision of the future.

And at that moment Irene begins to speak saying:
