Four days had passed since the teenagers began training to go to Soul Society.

Tatsuki participated in the training together with Yato, Orihime, and Chad for only one day and then withdrew to participate in the nationals with her karate team.

Considering Orihime's healing and rejection abilities and recognizing Chad's extraordinary physical strength, Yoruichi helped them understand and master these abilities to use them more accurately and efficiently.

The development of Yato's powers was somewhat different.

During the training, Yato noticed something strange. Every time he focused on someone, a new thread would appear, connecting the person to him. The difference was that this thread was not made of reiatsu, but it still emanated a different glow according to the person.

The first time Yato noticed this new thread was when he was observing Chad and Inoue's training.

When Yato focused on Chad, the thread would appear, connecting the two and emanating a yellow aura. The glow around Chad was somewhat strong but gradually became weaker as it approached Yato.

Yato: '... I'm not creating these threads...'

Cheshire: 'Exactly. You're just strong enough to be able to see them now.'

When Yato focused on Inoue, the thread between him and Chad disappeared, and he started seeing a thread connecting him to Inoue. This thread also had a yellow aura, and the glow around Inoue was as strong as Chad's, but it became weaker as it approached Yato.

Initially, he didn't understand what it meant, but as the days passed, he noticed that in addition to these threads, both he, Orihime and Chad had manifested a new thread connecting them to Yoruichi, but this new thread produced a gray aura.

Yato: 'Every time I focus on two people, a new thread tied to both of them appears...'

Cheshire: 'Do you have an idea of what these threads are~?' - The cat's playful voice echoed in Yato's mind.

Yato: 'Hmm... If I had to guess... they represent their feelings or emotions?'

Cheshire: 'Bingo~! The colors represent the emotions and feelings of the people. If you focus on two people, including yourself, you can discern what they think of each other through the color and intensity emanating from the threads.'

Yato: 'And what does the yellow color mean?'

Cheshire: 'The yellow color represents light, warmth, relaxation, optimism, joy... This color will appear when there's a feeling of friendship between people.'

This information, while important, left Yato pensive.

Yato: 'If the intensity of the aura also influences it, it means that despite them considering me an important friend to them... I don't consider the same... at least not in the same way they consider me...'

During the training, Yato continued to focus on creating more red threads but got distracted when he heard the sound of a loud impact and saw Chad releasing bursts of spiritual energy at Orihime while she defended herself with her shield.

Yato: "What are they doing?"

The black cat sitting next to the boy glanced at him from the corner of its eye.

Yoruichi: "I asked Sado to consecutively unleash his power while Inoue uses her Shun Shun Rikka to defend herself to test their limits."

Yato: "I see... by the way..."

Yoruichi: "Yes?"

Yato: "Do you know how Ichigo's training is going? And do you know if Tatsuki is managing to train as she said?" - He asked casually.

The cat remained silent for a while, merely looking at the teenager from the corner of its eye.

Yoruichi: "Apparently Ichigo has regained his shinigami powers and is still training with Urahara."

Yato: "What about Tatsuki?"

Yoruichi: "She's doing exactly what she said and training her powers little by little when she's not participating in a fight, although I must say that her progress is lacking."

Yato: "Why?"

Instead of answering immediately, Yoruichi called Chad and Inoue as he wanted to inform something.

Orihime: "Did something happen?"

Yoruichi: "I'll be brief and I confess that I was quite impressed by how quickly you mastered your abilities, however, taking into account your powers, especially Orihime and Yato's powers, I decided to try a new approach."

After the cat's words, the teenagers began to hear someone's footsteps approaching and soon realized that it was someone they had met before.

Tessai: "Did you request my presence, Yoruichi-dono?"

Yato: 'This is new…'

Yoruichi: "I believe that you can have a better understanding of these young people's abilities and be able to instruct them."

Tessai: "Certainly, but what do you intend to do in the meantime, Yoruichi-dono?"

Yoruichi: "I'll focus on the other girl. I think my training could be much more effective with her."

Orihime: "Are you going to train Tatsuki-chan!?" - She asked happily - "Say I wish her luck!"

Chad: "...Inoue...you already wished her luck when she left..."

Orihime: "Did I?"

Yato: "Yep"

Orihime: "Ehehe, clumsy me!"

The cat went to one of the windows and turned its face towards the young people.

Yoruichi: "You guys did a good job." - The feline turns towards Tessai - "I leave them in your hands."

Tessai: "Certainly" - He replied with a slight bow.

Orihime: "Take care, Yoruichi-san! Look after Tatsuki-chan!" - She waved.

Yato and Chad just watched in silence as the black cat jumped out the window and then the three of them turned their attention to Tessai.

Tessai: "I confess that I was surprised when I received this request from Yoruichi-dono, but probably something caught her attention so that she asked me to observe you three." - He paused looking at each of the teenagers. - "Starting with you, Sado-dono. Please, show me how your powers work."

The teenagers looked at each other for a few seconds then Chad again transformed his right arm.

Tessai put his hand on his chin, and brought her face closer to Chad's arm, looking him up and down, making Chad a little uncomfortable.

After a few minutes, Tessai started making hand signals, making Yato think he was going to do some jutsu despite knowing that it was probably a Kidou.

Tessai: "This is to avoid possible accidents." - He said while creating a barrier around us and then a barrier just around Chad. - "Sado-dono, I would like you to try to get out of there on your own."

Chad didn't hesitate and punched the barrier with all his might, emitting a large amount of reiatsu with the impact, however, to his and Inoue's surprise, the barrier didn't even have a scratch.

Tessai: "Keep trying until you break it, Sado-dono." - He said casually as he turned his attention to Inoue. - "Now it's your turn, Inoue-san. Please show me your powers."

Orihime: "Y-Yes!"

Orihime returned to manifest the spirits of Shun Shun Rikka as they flew around her.

Orihime gave small demonstrations of what she could do and when she couldn't explain it, Shun Shun Rikka's own spirits did a little summary while Tessai watched them with a curious expression.

Tessai: "Interesting…it brings me a certain nostalgia…Inoue-san, allow me to help you properly, however, with these powers, you have to find out for yourself how you should fight."

As Tessai sat down to talk with Orihime, Yato approached the two.

Yato: "Excuse me, Mr. Tessai…I just wanted to clarify some doubts."

Orihime: "Is everything okay, Yasakani-kun?"

Yato: "It's just that I've been having trouble concentrating on my powers lately..."

Cheshire: 'Are you…? I don't remember that…'

Yato: 'I have a plan, be quiet so I don't lose focus.'

Tessai: "And what would those problems be, Yasakani-dono?"

Yato: "It's complicated to explain…it's just that every time I try to concentrate on my powers I feel something else…kind of a different feeling in my spiritual energy."

Tessai stared at the young man for a few minutes without saying anything and noticing Yato's discomfort he decided to be brief.

Tessai: "Yasakani-dono, I suggest you go see the boss before anything else. You remember the address, don't you?"

Yato: "Yes, but is there something wrong with me?"

The young man noticed that Orihime and Chad looked at him briefly when he said those words.

Tessai: "You'll know if you talk to the boss."

The young man thanked him and left the place after Tessai opened a part of the barrier for him to pass.

As he walked to the Urahara Shop, Cheshire returned to the conversation in the young man's mind.

Cheshire: 'Why are we going to the most suspicious guy in the area again?'

Yato: 'Because it would be more suspicious if I only trained fullbring and when I arrived in Soul Society I started using shinigami skills. Probably Urahara, Yoruichi and Tessai already realized that I have shinigami reiatsu.'

Cheshire: 'So you're going to feign ignorance?'

Yato: 'Basically that… I must be very suspicious about everything in Urahara's eyes so… I'm going to play his game… so...he can play my game…I think...'

Cheshire: '.... You're crazy…'

The crowd cheered with yet another victory for Tatsuki. The girl always seemed to be tired in her matches, but she managed to win the fights without much difficulty.

When people asked why she was tired, Tatsuki used the excuse that that competition was easy, so she trained exaggeratedly after her fights so that her opponents would at least have a chance of winning.

And this time was not different. After winning her fights, Tatsuki always isolated herself trying to train her powers and improve them and at that moment she noticed a figure approaching her

Tatsuki: "Huh? Yoruichi-san? What are you doing here? I thought you were training the others." - She said when she noticed the black cat.

Yoruichi: "They're still training, I just found a more effective way for them to evolve, that's why I'm here."

Tatsuki: "So you came to train me?" - She asked in surprise.

Yoruichi: "I realized that my kind of training can be much more effective with you, girl."

Tatsuki: "And what kind of training am I going to do?"

Yoruichi: "You'll fight someone stronger than you to exhaustion. If your powers work the way you said, facing someone at a high level can make you get used to using your senses more quickly."

Tatsuki: "Alright! I really needed a challenge! Who am I going to face?"

The feline opened a slight smile, looking the girl in the eyes.

Yoruichi: "Your opponent will be me. This could be a good exercise so that I don't remain rusty."

Tatsuki: "...But how am I going to fight you exactly….?"

Yoruichi: "Don't worry, you'll have plenty of time to use your martial arts against me when I'm in my original form."
