I hadn't realized it at the time, but I had made a serious mistake. The entire room was silent for a few seconds after my answer.
Yato: "What was it…?"
Suddenly the uproar from before took on new proportions. The girls in the class were even more excited than usual. Did they scream in…joy? Some were even jumping around like they were celebrating something while others were more controlled and just grinned from ear to ear. The scariest thing is that the teacher was acting like the students.
Yato: 'I think I said something I shouldn't.'
When I looked at the expressions of the boys in the class, I saw mixed reactions. Some celebrated but in a more controlled way. Some just smiling and clapping. Others seemed outraged by something.
Yato: 'I definitely said something I shouldn't'
After a few minutes, as much as she was curious, the teacher realized that if she left the room in that state, there would be no class. Then momentarily controlling her curiosity, the teacher yelled
Misato: "Enough! Enough! After we finish classes you are free to ask your questions to Yasakani. But only during lunch time!"
The teacher was smiling so happily that it looked like she had been given a Christmas present.
Misato: "And tell me everything later."
Yato: "What?"
The students reluctantly obeyed and eventually each returned to their seats.
During class, everything seemed quiet. Which was weird at least for me. Everyone was obedient and kept silent throughout the first period of class.
Yato: 'If it was my old school, there would be at least one student starting a paper ball fight but here during classes everything is quiet. I wish I could have had an education like that…Wait…I'm already getting that education…right now…right? I'm getting crazy...'
After a while, lunch time started and I remembered that I didn't bring anything to eat because I had left in a hurry.
Yato: 'This day is going to be a long one…' - I sighed, until...
Mizuiro: "Hello. Yato Yasakani isn't it?"
I turned and saw that it was Mizuiro apparently carrying his lunch.
Mizuiro: "My name is Mizuiro Kojima. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Yato: "Likewise."
Mizuiro: "I was going to have lunch on the terrace with some friends of mine. Would you like to join us?"
Yato: "Yes, let's go." - I replied already getting up.
Mizuiro: "Aren't you taking your lunch?"
Yato: "I didn't actually bring anything. Is there a soda machine around here?"
Mizuiro: "They sell sodas and juices in the cafeteria. I'll show you where it is."
Yato: "Thanks."
As we made our way to the cafeteria, Mizuiro took the time to ask a few questions.
Mizuiro: "So Yasakani-san, where are you from?"
Yato: "You don't have to be so formal. You can call me Yato. And I live in Minamikawase. My house is near a clinic."
I actually didn't know my address number because I didn't look at it. But having the clinic as a reference made it easier.
Mizuiro: "So you must live near a friend of mine. You'll meet him soon. At first he might seem scary but he's a nice guy."
It didn't take long to get to the cafeteria. I automatically bought a juice because I remembered the scene of Rukia trying to drink it.
After buying my lunch, Mizuiro and I went straight to the terrace. I already expected to find Ichigo, Chad and Keigo there, but when Mizuiro opened the door, not only were they there but also Orihime, Tatsuki and the other girls who were always close to the two of them.
Mizuiro: I brought him folks!
Yato: 'I think I've fallen into a trap…'
