Chapter 7 The Underwater City

de-stress so I didn't work on anything unless I wanted to. Sadly I got caught up in other things and forgot to write. But enough about me enjoy the deep sea~~~~~~~~~~~~~~]

that's how we moved. Slowly and carefully

After what felt like a eternity I feel the calming cold of the ocean's grasp. I kept my hands firmly griped on the ropes as I gently let the rope slide through my hands.

I remember being told when we bought these suits that we can't swim in them, add on the weight from our spearguns for protection. if we lost the rope we we're done for.

As the waters grasp surrounds me the cold of the ocean calms my nerves.

The water makes moving around in the heavy diving kit much easier.

I continue to let the ropes flow through my fingers as I continue to descend into the dark ocean, I look up to see Fin not far above.

After what feels like hours the metal tube is replaced with glass and I'm presented with the sight Iv waited all my life to see…

Rapture~

It's as beautiful as I thought it'd be.. neon lights flickering on and off, large towers flowing up from the sea floor like monuments of the power of humanity, giant wale's swimming through the city's open areas demonstrating their beauty, paths of glass leading from one tower to the next for as far as I can see in the dark ocean waters.

As I'm sliding watching the beautiful sight in front of me I spot what I think is lady in a diving suit standing on one of the glass paths…

(What is that?)

It suddenly looks right at me and jumps off the glass pathway and disappears.

I stop on the rope and look up to try and see Fin. But when I look up I see the end of his speargun pointing at me. Suddenly the spear flys through the water hitting me in the shoulder making me fall off the rope.

I start panicking, I reach for my speargun but I accidentally drop it. The pain is intense, I can barely move my right arm.

Im slowly falling backwards in the middle of the city Of rapture, as I look at Fin I see him wave at me as I slowly loose Conscience in the middle of this great city…..
