Like most other regions Avalon has many gym battles in their own weight team to go up against. For them there are eight main gyms in gym leaders when it comes to certain challenges. Of those Pokemon battle gyms there is the starter gym by the Pokemon leader James Blueblood; then there's the twin gym with the Pokemon leader Lilith Smith; as well as the snow fae gym with the gym leader Jack Frost; don't forget the cat gym with its leader Alexia Lenio; even it's complete opposite the doggo gym with its Pokemon gym leader Jevin Jumi; let's not forget the spooky gym with gym leader June Bug; there's even a triple trouble gym with the gym leader by the name of Derek Tril and last but not least the roaring dragon gym with Chrissy Dyson. Those that go to Lee's gyms get their badges if they want to do the Avalon challenge to come a champion and participate in the challenge champion Royale. The most would use Jesse Baker's eight main gym battle guides to prepare and battle the leaders. So there's also a guide on the challenge that gets updated every 10 years as well.

The eight main gym battles guide by Jesse Baker

Intro: hello young trainers, it is I champion Jesse Baker here to help guide you on your trainer journey; to come one of Avalon's many champions. First there are a few rules you need to be reminded of when it comes to these gym challenges. Number one - once you answer the gym you must complete the challenge in one go or you are going to start all over again (many newbies and visitors do not know this and get frustrated once it becomes common knowledge to them). Number two - you cannot use held items, potions, antidotes and pills when in battle (that means no potion, no paralyzed heals, no awaken potions, etc; no pills that require pp ups etc and other things like that as well during battle). Number three - there are cameras everywhere in the gym so by going in you will be recorded so be respectful for your own sake and others. Number four - there will be a limit place on both of gym leader and challenging trainer depending on the badges you have (that means there will be a level cap and a limit on the number of Pokemon you can use during your battle). Number five - to most this is the most important of all rules to have fun and not to lose yourself in all of this. Now let's get started, gym leaders have many authorized Pokemon to battle with trainers. Although many trainers will complain on having to go to a certain order this is not the case the most will actually go in what will help them the most. Even I have a biased opinion when it comes to which is the best option to go first in and we'll be using that option in this guidebook. Now in certain gems there are restriction for both the trainer and gym Leaders to have to abide by. Also generally just can have a minimum of two as well as the maximum of eight guide trainers to help them with their challenges as well as their own personal puzzles when it comes to you getting your badge. With this the guide will help you find where the general location is of the gym what order are you go to and what type of gym they are and what to expect.

The first gym: the starter gym

Badge: it has a silver background with a green dot, a red dot and a blue dot in the triangle formation

Description: since Avalon has many different trainers with many different starters this gym is must have. In this gym is where you're going to have your starter Pokemon must fight its opposing elemental typing. For example if you have a fire type this gym will use water ground and rock type Pokemon.

General location: Vindale, Avalon

The second gym: twin style gym

Badge: blue background with a simplified gray fish and orange fish swelling around each other

Description: get ready for a double battle when it comes to the gym. This gym is on the theme of twinning Pokemon double battling with each other. So you could see a beautifly and vivillon together or even a classic plusle and minun.

The current gym leader: Lilith Bay Smith

Puzzle type: mirror room

General location: Vindale, Avalon

The third gym: Winter Fae gym

Badge: a dark navy blue background with an ice blue silhouette of a fairy

Description: this is a bit more of a simple gym since it's a fairy ice type gym when it comes down to it. At least you could see if Frostlass and Sylveon together.

The current gym leader: Jack Zay Frost

Number of guide trainers: three

General location: Elderon, Avalon

The Fourth Gym: meowza gym

Badge: a light gray background with three black cat paws running across it

Description: oh hell the feline lover heaven it has been found. In all seriousness this gym uses only cat type Pokemon. So you want to see a espurr in delicat together or even a leopard with a incineraroar or this is the most likely place it's going to be happening in.

The current gym leader: Alexa Maizes Lenio

Puzzle type: giant cat tree

General location: Elderon, Avalon

The fifth gym: doggy doggo gym

Badge: a dark gray background with a egg blue dog paw

Description: we have found it the place where the little goodest boys. Similar to the other gym this place is only uses dog type Pokemon.

The current gym leader: Jevin Kei Jumi

Puzzle type: none

General location: Cendale, Avalon

The Sixth gym: spooky cave gym

Badge: dark gray to Black gradient background with Ash white ghost

Description: this is another simple gym to get through as it's a ghost and dark type gym. So expect a drift Bloom and sneasel in this area.

Puzzle type: dark room

General location: Cendale, Avalon

The seventh gym: triple trouble gym

Badge: a sky blue to dark blue gradient background with a sliver swirl, a purple swirl, and a pink swril in a triangle formation

Description: by Arceus light this is a triple battle gym where we come and see the weakness covers inside this type of gaming battle. You may even see the rock ,flying and fighting trio or even the classic fire ,water and grass combo.

The current gym leader: Derik Jarvis Tril

Puzzle type: spinning floors

General location: Agoron, Avalon

The eighth gym: draconic roost gym

Badge: a cloudy silver black round with a blood red dragon head silhouette

Description: ah yes the standard fire dragon type gym battle. I honestly save The Best for last because honestly dragon types uh oh it's the most amusing one to battle when they're on their highest level.
