After the Governor had deviced his plan, everyone went around to get geared up.

The Governor was taking all of his fighting men with him Gabriel thought that was stupid of him so he asked Merle to stay and in case shit hits the fan, he'll take the people away from here to a safe spot.

"What are you doing?" asked an angry Governor.

"What do you mean what am I doing? I'm leaving a capable man here to act in case those walkers come here" responded Gabriel.

"This is not your place to take charge in!" said the Governor, his good man facade slowly slipping away.

The people around started whispering about how the Governor is planning on leaving them unprotected and that maybe Gabriel should be in charge instead.

The Governor roared at the people to shut them up "SHUT UP!" he took a deep breath "I want to make sure we drive those walkers away so I'm taking all capable man to see this through" explained the Governor earning a few nods from the men around.

No one else agreed, but what can they do? they can't fight, they didn't need to since the fighting was done for them to keep this place so they just kept quiet.

Gabriel shrugged "Have it your way"

They were ready to go when Rowan stopped Gabriel and kissed his lips "Be careful" she said blushing. Mindy was staring daggers at Gabriel for not letting her go with him, so Gabriel approached the housewife and took her to quiet, empty ally.

"Have you killed a walker before?"

Gabriel wiped her tears away and made her look at him "Then come with me to my settlement, I'll always be around. You don't have to be alone with me. When Gabriel and co made it to the horde, the idiots started shooting at them, Gabriel facepalmed because they were attracting their attention faster.

Gabriel looked at Merle and both nodded, they got down from their vehicles and ran away.

They atracted walkers away from Woobbury but not all of them since the Governor's people were being swarmed and used their guns gaining the attention of a lot of them.

The Governor was shooting down walkers when he saw Gabriel at a distance, he grinned and took the rifle from another guy, he aimed it at Gabriel's head.

*Bang*

Through the scope he saw Gabriel go down and soon walkers were on him. The Governor smirked satisfied and kept on killing more walkers.

No one said anything about it and kept doing what they were doing. The walkers became too much and people started retreating, the Governor got into a vehicle and drove off back to Woodbury. They ran over the walkers on their way but one of them got stuck under the vehicle making the car stop and not go forward.

*Graaawwwr*

The walkers swarmed the car and broke the windows, and bit the ones closest to them, the Governor pushed people to the walkers so that they can't bite him.

Governor managed to get out of the vehicle through the back window and climbed on the rooftop of the truck.

He sat there and just waited until someone came to save him, he looked around to see if someone could help him but what he saw made his eyes bulged out.

Gabriel stood up and rubbed his head "What the fuck, man? I felt like someone just boinked my head"

Walkers just walked past him without paying him any attention, his skin was harder than their teeth so they couldn't do anything anyways.

Gabriel looked towards a vehicle being swarmed and on top of it he saw the Governor looking at him with wide eyes.

Gabriel smirked and gave him the middle finger, he aimed his gun to the Governor and shot at his knees rendering him useless to walk.

Due to the screams and blood of the Governor the walkers started pushing the truck making the Governor lose his balance and fall off the truck.

Gabriel laughed evilly and just looked at how the walkers tear a screaming Governor apart, Gabriel walked away and gave that sassy walk a try and walked away spinning his gun around his finger.

"You are sick man" said someone beside him.

Gabriel didn't need to see who it was "Come on! you can't tell me you didn' enjoy that... Merle" laughed Gabriel.

"That I did" said Merle amused.

"Get on that truck and I'l get on this one. We'll drive them away by making noise with them" said Gabriel, Merle nodded and did as told.

In the end all of the Governor's people were killed by the walkers and only Merle and Gabriel stayed alive leading a horde of hundreds of walkers away from Woodbury.

They drove them away into a mining pit, making them fall where people would find it hard to get out, much less the walkers.

Once they had done that, they returned to Woodbury only to find the town in chaos.
