"You. What are you?"

The strange being stood between them and proudly said, "Magic handcuffs. You both can't be separated within 500 meters or else one will be dragged and it will become shorter as punishment." As if she had done an incredible job, the strange being looked at Robert with sparkling eyes. However, Robert and Mila were displeased as they loudly shouted, "What?" with a grimace.

As the two both felt ridiculous with the strange being's action, Robert dragged the strange being away from Mila and patiently talked to the strange being, thinking maybe the unknown creature was still adjusting to the world that she had gained her freedom.

"You can read my mind, right? Please break this spell." Robert could not voice out what he wanted to the strange being because Mila could hear him with Mila's superior hearing. "Mila doesn't like being chained. She despised it, actually. Look how much she ran away from me!"
