He Ao caught the keyword.

"The so-called Talents, like the ability used by the Magic Apprentice in front of you," the middle-aged man seemed a bit surprised that He Ao didn't know the concept of Talents, but he still patiently explained,

"These abilities do not require acquisition through learning, they come from some kind of sudden 'awakening', someone suddenly possesses abilities that others cannot learn, and we call these unlearnable abilities 'Talents.'"

Then, he thought for a moment and added, "Every Talent has its own name, and the wielders must anchor their abilities to this name, otherwise, any deviation could easily lead to distortion and madness, just like what this Magic Apprentice has experienced. So in a way, a Talent is both a grace and a curse."

"So, do these Talents exhibit some sort of pattern?"

He Ao asked offhand.
