Chapter 158: Drifting

HOV not only had subspace lances, she also sported a set of her own weapons. Capitalizing on Kiana's experience in gun kata. (pic)

"You were lucky that you had comrades back then, but it's different now human. You are alone, weak, and pathetic!" HOV started attacking and she willed Siegfried right in front of her using telekinesis. "Ugh!" Siegfried groaned from the g-forces and HOV smirked at him. Not even deeming him worthy of touching with her own hands.

She then sent him flying again and she raised her hand, a honkai cube appeared at Siegfried's trajectory. He crashed onto it as he lost all his breath in his lungs. She gestured again and another set of cubes appeared. It crushed him in between and they separated into 4 parts, spinning like a Rubik's cube.

"See, pathetic. Where's your friends now human? KYAHAHAHA!" She laughed, but it was cut short as Siegfried transformed into his honkai reactive form. His eyes glowing blue, body armored by a hard shell, and the ground he stood on froze. But he was losing himself more and more as he used the last ICHOR activator. Apologizing to Cecilia in his heart that he couldn't even say goodbye.

HOV was shocked, Siegfried then let out a primal roar as the place they were in turned into a frozen wasteland. Like a beast, he ran in all fours and with newfound speed, he crashed onto HOV like a truck. Her void shields being battered by overwhelming strength and cold.

"What's happening to him? It seems he has fully turned." HOV observed and Siegfried's body was now fully black and blue. Turning into a humanoid honkai beast as steam escaped from his mouth.

"Heh, you will be a pet that is worth taming." She arrogantly said and aimed her subspace lances at him. They were launched, Siegfried with his new instincts quickly roared. Freezing the lances, he then shot a beam of honkai energy from his mouth and hit HOV, freezing her shield as it shattered.

He then ran with savagery as his every step created tremors in the surroundings. Siegfried quickly arrived at her location and HOV was defenseless. Siegfried noticed the rich honkai energy coming from her core and tried to pierce her chest. But she opened up a portal and his hand appeared behind his back and went through his chest.

"KYAHAHAHA! You are just an animal! Kneel to your queen insect!" HOV stood up and looked at Siegfried that went silent. Her celebration was cut off though as his other hand grasped on her neck tightly like a vice.

"Kurk!" Her neck was almost crushed instantly, Siegfried's slitted eyes then shone brightly and he opened his maws. Showing a sharp row of teeth, he then attempted to bite her head off.

Before he could chomp on HOV, a punch landed on his face and he skipped on the ground like a pebble. "Fuck! That was close... Good thing I was nearby." Adelheid appeared and she was smoldering from the speed she travelled in.

Adelheid then smacked HOV on the face, rocking her brain like a kid shaked it in a jar. Losing consciousness immediately, she then absorbed her honkai energy using her own core. But she could not take it out or Kiana would suffer greatly from the after effects.

"Now, it's time for the elephant in the room. Damn it Sieg, you didn't have a choice huh? Well done, I'll take things from here." Adelheid saw Siegfried running at him like an animal and she frowned. Tightening her grip on her hands as pressurized wind formed on her fists.

She then anchored herself on the ground as Siegfried lunged at her. Adelheid socked him right on his mug and a bomb of pressurized wind exploded behind him. Receiving the full force of her punch as the impact released hurricane force winds. Blowing anything apart in the residential area they were in.

Adelheid prepared Abyss Flower and stabbed him with it. Siphoning his honkai energy to the max, reverting him. She also healed his injuries with a sigh. "Where's Cecilia?" She looked for any signs of honkai energy in the area. And a spacetime anomaly was nearby. But it was quickly losing energy as HOV went unconscious and Adelheid took away her honkai energy.

"Sister! W-what happened!? Did Kiana turn into her herrscher form again!?" Cecilia was frantic as she saw the destruction around her.

"Umu, she did. Calm down Cecilia, tell me what happened before all this." Adelheid investigated and Cecilia told her that Kiana would act weirdly every time Siegfried was inside the house with her.

"Damn! The herrscher remembers him as one of the people that opposed her during the 2nd honkai war Cecilia. This was inevitable, but why did it happen when I was busy damnit." Adelheid cursed as Anti-Entropy was currently fighting on a three way war with Schicksal and World Serpent. And Ein has much better things to do, as the time is near. And his focus was on the sea of quanta as it might retaliate. Dampening his senses as he monitored the sea and imaginary tree 24/7.

"What should we do Adelheid? If the herrscher makes her react to Siegfried like this, then surely we have to do something?" Cecilia was anxious and she did not know what to do.

"Ugh... I. I'll leave." Siegfried said weakly as he listened in on their conversation. He was fatigued, but alright.

"Sieg... Are you fine with that?" Adelheid asked and Cecilia was about to retort, but she raised her hand and looked at Siegfried. As she knew that it must have took a lot of thinking and courage to get to that decision.

"Yes... If it's to protect her and Cecilia. Then it must be the correct decision, they're all what I have left. If that's what it takes, then so be it." He said resolutely and Cecilia started to cry.

"I will put a locator on Kiana. So I would be able to get to her every time her honkai energy surges. I can pacify her transformation, but we don't know when it will happen again." Adelheid said as she took Kiana to Anti-Entropy. Lieserl and the others must have something like that there she thought.

"Siegfried..." Cecilia hugged him tightly and looked at Kiana that was unconscious. It tore her in two that her family would be broken.

"This is for your own good Cecilia. I will be back, Sieg, take care." Adelheid then flew off and Siegfried closed his eyes as he gritted his teeth.

Meanwhile, at London. Tilie, Bianka, and Rita were about to tow the 2nd key to Schicksal. But they heard a clap. "Masterful display everyone. Though how should I know that you'll use this vessel for the greater good?" A throne appeared from below the top of Cosmic Juggernaut and an ELF of Ein appeared. Armed with a little version of 7 Thunders of Retribution.

He looked cute, with his smirk. But the trio had grim faces on as they knew that shit was about to get real.

"Bianka, Rita. Hold on as much as you can, I'll be getting my battle avatar as quickly as I can. This will be a battle of a lifetime." Tilie said as she ran away with all her might. "Amber! Start up the gundams right now! We have a situation here!" She started to upload her consciousness to a new Soulium avatar immediately and was running out of time by the second.

"Well, if you can answer this. I'll let you have it without a problem." ELF Ein put his hand on his chin as the little droid looked like a ruler on the throne.

"Humans are the worst thing to have ever walked the earth. They have jump started the end of the world as we know it. Why should you even try to protect it, hmm?" The ELF asked, both Rita and Bianka were stumped and didn't know.

"C-can you give us some time to think?" Rita asked and tried to buy time. "How about, no. Come on, I'm waiting, answer the question in 3." He raised 3 fingers and gave an ultimatum. Rita and Bianka tensed up and were ready to fight immediately.

"3." The ELF said nonchalantly, but Rita and Bianka started to sweat as they equipped their battlesuits. Loading them up with honkai energy as much as possible.

"2." They brandished their weapons and Bianka's eyes started to glow. Calling upon the universe inside of her and she powered up like a super Saiyan as arcs of electricity ionized around her. (pic)

"1." Rita's outfit turned into a dress as a tattoo of a rose with thorns appeared on her thigh. Her scythe turned black and lightning rained down on her position as she quickly thought it would be the best battlesuit to combat the ELF. (pic)

"It seems the time is up. It was pretty simple too, that is to fight for everything that is beautiful in this world. Do remember that, sadly. You won't be getting this." The ELF stood up and equipped the weapon on its spear form twirling it around like a master combatant.

"Rita! Engage at full power immediately!" Bianka floated on the air as pieces of golden armor stuck onto her. Acting as beacons to receive maximum amounts of honkai energy as she crashed on the ground with a sea of flames.

The ELF used the key to transport them into a shallow part of the sea and swung. Lightning roared as it offset Bianka's flames.

"Goshujin-sama, your creations are as ridiculous as always." Rita loaded up her body with honkai energy, showcasing her immaculate control as she ran. Small bursts of honkai energy were released under her foot as she arrived at the ELF's location in an instant.

Her scythe crashed with the spear of her enemy and a defeaning thunderclap resounded. Rita then maneuvered her scythe and enhanced her arms, hitting the ELF as she tried making an opening for Bianka.

Bianka went in like a rocket as she flew. Flames acting like jets on her body. She then gave a combination of blows that released a torrent of flames.

The ELF's spear turned into gauntlets and greaves, parrying her every strike like it was child's play. Frustrating her to no end, he then dodged Bianka's axe kick and struck her on the knee, breaking her balance immediately as she cried out in pain.

"Good effort, but this is how you string combos girl." The ELF's weapons glowed with violet lightning as it delivered a flurry of kicks almost instantenously at Bianka. Doing the signature kick 13 of Beowulf at her as she got launched high up above. Disappearing from plain sight.

"Tch, what a monster!" Rita released her familiars that were made of lightning. Raining it down on the ELF that just absorbed everything she put out. It then looked to teleport above her as it delivered an axe kick. She couldn't dodge in time and it hit her on her shoulder. Shattering her clavicle and dislocating it as she gasped in pain. Then, lightning struck her. Making Rita grit her teeth from the immense pain, her muscles spasming violently from the attack.

"Rita!" Bianka threw ethereal spears and swooped in to save Rita. She was bleeding heavily and her mouth still has traces of blood.

"Give up, it is not fated for you." The ELF twirled the spear and looked at them with an impressed smile.

"Damn..." Bianka coughed up blood and Rita's left arm was dangling. They were against overwhelming odds already and the fight just started.

"You know, I can feel your burning will. What is it that you fight for?" The ELF asked. "For my master." Rita stood up and Bianka squinted her eyes. "To repay my debt to him. You might be made in his image, but I will beat you up!" Bianka roared as she willed spears on both of her hands. Dual wielding them as she slashed at him.

Rita, with her one arm. Brandished her scythe with amazing dexterity and skill as she created a dragon of lightning. "Now, Bianka-san!" It swallowed up Bianka and the ELF. The blonde then balled up as she protected herself with a shield.

Bianka then created a siege bow with her powers and nocked a spear as an arrow. Drawing it with her leg to give maximum power. She then released it as she back flipped from the momentum of her attack.

The ELF chuckled and used the great sword form. The sword and spear clashed violently, lightning and flames bathing the area.

ELF Ein smirked and was going to deflect it, but golden chains wrapped around him tightly. "Bianka! Rita! Well done!" Tilie appeared in her adult form with a copy of Judah on her.

Bianka didn't waste any time and created a spear. She poured her blood on it as it glowed a bright orange, Schariac holy blood and her powers combining. "Take this!" Bianka roared and threw it with all her might. Tracing a line as it hit the ELF, creating an explosion that threw the 3 of them off.

They waited patiently for the aftermath and after the bright light faded, they saw the ELF with violet lightning coiled like a snake on it. "Well done, I was forced to use this."

The trio frowned and Tilie created a copy of Abyss Flower. She then threw it like a javelin to try and distract the enemy. Bianka concentrated, tapping into her honkai genes that Kevin has taught her.

Large shards of ice appeared behind her and Rita loaded them up with her lightning. Bianka raised her hands and opened up a connection with her universe. Spawning a large lance made of pure honkai energy.

"Ahhh! This ends here!" Bianka catapulted the huge lance and the large spears of ice pelted the ELF in a barrage.

"Hmph, try harder girl." The ELF's weapon transformed into a large serpent of lightning. Threatening to swallow up Bianka's attacks, along with the three of them.

"No you don't! I've prepared for hundreds of years for this! Void Archives, 0th power! Divine Imitation!" A field of anti-honkai appeared just like Judah's Elysion Pedion and made the attack of the ELF smaller.

Bianka's lance then tore through it and crashed on Ein's ELF. The trio then fell down immediately and prayed that it worked. And their spirits fell down immediately as they saw him shield itself with a miniature Judah with its own anti-honkai field.

"N-no way." Tilie was downtrodden, thinking that her plans would be set back. As the 2nd key was crucial to her plans. The form of Kallen in her mind disappearing up in smoke.

"Ein-nii, how strong are you? God damnit this ELF is a fucking monster." Bianka frowned heavily and she was frustrated that their differences in power were so great that an ELF of him that only has a fraction of his power could beat the three of them up easily.

It then clapped and nodded in satisfaction. "I do not know what you will do with this vessel. But I applaud your will. And you, you have passed. I can feel the passion coming from you, woman. You're going to use it to protect everything that's beautiful for you aren't you?" The ELF asked and Tilie was surprised that it knew what she was going to do.

"I can read minds girl, I'm amazing after all. Your brain waves are readable you know? That was fun, I will leave this to you." The ELF then took them back to London and flew away with a smile.

"D-did it give it to us? Is this for real? He won't come back and kick our asses again right?" Bianka asked nervously and they silently waited for it to come back. But it didn't after they just sat there for 30 minutes, completely tense.

"W-we did it Bianka-san." Rita sighed in relief and thought that she must train harder. "That seems to be the case... Ein, my old friend. Your creations are as ridiculous as ever." Tilie lost her strength and ordered the gundams to take it back to base. Though unicorn banshee was low in power as it was the one that breached the portal to the sea of quanta.
