Chapter 7: School Days (not that one)

As I scrolled and researched more on that enlightening day, the 2nd herrscher also appeared. she appeared in the middle of europe causing another honkai impact, even stronger than the 1st. But, due to fire moth's effort a lot of people were evacuated making the casualties be less than before. Still a lot, approximately 300k but at least less. After the civilians at the location were successful with the evac. Warheads were immediately raining down, decimating the city further making the populace quite gloomy.

There were no body reportedly seen after the bombardment, fire moth has fortunately decided on a wait and see protocol. As the tensions slowly decrease in a couple of hours, she appeared in the next city through a portal, without even a scratch. They were blindsided, the city was engulfed in complete havoc in just an hour. Thousands dying every minute to the legion of honkai beasts and zombies attacking the populace. The local guard and military of course fought with everything they can throw without compromising the civs. But the herrscher's power seemed almost god like and unbeatable.

Every bullet, every explosive, ammunition and shells raining upon her was stopped by a blue shield. Cruise missiles and orbital bombardments seemingly disappeared when she conjured multiple portals then the weapons exploded all over the city in a grand display of explosions.

Fire moth, with all the geniuses aplenty, quickly concluded that the herrscher's power is space time manipulation. It explains the indestructible shield, the portals and her seemingly zipping from her birthplace to another city instantaneously.

As they try to make a plan as even though honkai fission bombs don't work. An ingenious plan was made, why pour overwhelming fire power onto the herrscher when we can make a surgical strike after a distraction. They have to make it quick, thousands are still dying while making a counteroffensive.

A human, even though enhanced as a herrscher, must have limits. Especially on their reaction time. Fire moth will capitalize this using a particle cannon to blind side the herrscher. Quickly sending a decoy suicide squad disguised as an assassin group. The soldiers got close quietly and covertly to their target, using energy weapons enhanced with honkai they tried to struck the herrscher but failed immediately of course. As they were cleanly sliced to pieces immediately, the target laughing like a maniac thinking of their foolish endeavours. A laser suddenly struck from overhead, glassing the very ground she stood upon, leaving nothing but a gem in the aftermath.

"Damn, when I remember those overpowered guys I instantly shiver on what I would do if faced with those hax. I must hasten my plans and practically stat check them, damned hax at least with superior stats I can run away and wait for fire moth or collaborate with them to make counters." Einheri muttered.

But now I will just go to the dreaded reincarnator's big problem. School,

"sigh, well at least I can play around and grind a bit. Better make my time at home count by reading everything that I can to help develop my project."

Frey: "Honey, Ein what are you muttering about by yourself. You excited for school? Make a lot of friends okay?. You've been reading and playing by yourself for a long time after all."

Ein: "Yes, mom, and dad please tell mom that I've been doing these things so I can have a bright future okay. Mom is such a worrywart, thinking that I would be alone forever or something." Isn't that rude? He thought

Eric: "Ein is right Frey, let him do what he wants, not that it's harmful or anything. But, do make some friends and acquaintances young man, you might see your future wife at school." as he laughed boisterously

Frey: "hmph, what are you talking about Eric, our little boy won't be plagued with hussies! I'll beat em with a stick if I have to, little Ein is super duper cute after all."

Mom is kinda right though, I am quite the cutie. Now with medium length Silver hair, a cute little face with almond shaped deep green eyes that looks as verdant as a bright forest. Not bad, not bad indeed, maybe I should let my hair grow? Look like Sephiroth?

Ooh baby I like the sound of that.

As I daydream about my future looks, dad ushers me to our car for my 1st day at school.

Eric: "Come on son, won't want to be late at your 1st day now do you?"

While at the car I think of ways to grind my Int and Increase my literature as well to bump up the success for my project, we arrived at the elementary school I'll be painstakingly attend, ugh.

Eric: "Go on son, start your 1st day at school and learn a lot okay? Make friends as well."

My mom was sobbing and then she said "Be good at school okay? Don't forget to have lunch, wash your hands before you eat, don't let hussies near you! And, and, and."

Ein: "Mom! I know, I know, alright? Don't worry about me I'm gonna behave okay? Stop worrying so much I won't be going to war geez."

Frey: "And?" She says while raising an eyebrow at me.

Ein: "And don't let hussies put their grubby little hands on me, sheesh mom I'm gonna go to a 1st grade classroom."

Eric laughed "Your mom is just worried about you, now go on, shoo. We will be seeing you later alright?

Ein: "I know. Love you mom, dad. See you later." As I then walk to my classroom looking at a map and looking for the room.

"Class 1-A should be righhht over here." I saw a little sign with 1-A then entered. The class was already half full, a couple of minutes should be enough, then classes begins. Sigh, I wish I had enough time to put some books in my bag. Maybe I can read while class is underway and look at the lecture from time to time so I won't get scolded. Kids can't focus for a long time anyway so I can get away with it.

As the minutes pass while I was thinking, the class was now full and a middle aged woman came to the center of the room in front. "Alright kids I will be teaching for your homeroom for today, but we will 1st introduce ourselves."

Of course I don't listen for their name. Maybe just call my teacher ma'am or something. The students slowly introduce themselves and their hobbies and what not. While I just stare at the front listlessly.

Then a girl with dark purple hair and indigo eyes introduces herself.

girl: "My name is MEI, I like to read and have more knowledge about the world."

Hm, so this girl is a nerd huh? The kids already think of her as boring too I can see it in their awkward faces. If I'm gonna make some friends, might as well this little cutie maybe? I just have a feeling that we will get along, after all just stewing in my thoughts all day every monday to friday would bore me senseless.

We will see what will happen with her. Gotta introduce someone to my mom, after all she'll get on my case again if I told her I made no friends in school, sigh.
