Ancient Era / 9.4 : The deal

As soon as the emperor was gone Eden walked to his father. Weilong caressed his head affectionately and asked:

"Are you okay?"

Eden smiled reassuringly.

"I'm okay father don't worry."

Weilong smiled, he can tell that his son is ready to fight and he'll fight at his sides but he can't help but worry. He is the only family he has he can't lose him.

They both turned when a guard came and said:

"Your highness the emperor asked for you."

Eden nodded, he hugged his father and followed the royal guard. He entered his imperial study and watched the guards close the doors. He turned and after respectfully bowing he said:

"Your majesty."

He looked into Yecheng's eyes and saw worry and fear. Yecheng stilled for a few seconds not sure how to fix this then he stood up. He walked to Eden and stopped in front of him. He looked at him silently then asked:

"Are you okay?"

Eden smiled.

"I'm okay your majesty."
