"Thank you. I think I can. Though they only provide minuscule amounts of mana, it's still purer and faster than directly absorbing mana from the surroundings," WristRose explained.

After that short interaction with the slime, Misho finally finished his bread. They hopped back into the carriage and avoided making too much noise to not wake up Maia.
The caravan continued, and the sun slowly set by the time they exited the forest. What welcomed them was a large open area with plots and plots of farmed vegetation.
They jumped out of the carriage. MadPolygon and TonkotsuRamen carried Maia again and placed her on top of a sleeping bag near the campfire.
Misho then woke up Maia and helped her into the sleeping bag. He was careful of her chest area where she was hurt.
