SDCC Ripples

"What's the sun and the moon got to do with it?" Milla didn't really get what he meant.

"Honestly, it's also just stretching of a non-existent from me, so don't mind it much." Alexander didn't want to go in a science spiel about the sun, moon, and the Earth lining up to make a solar eclipse.

Besides, he never really understood his heritage's symbolism on it and it's best to leave Milla out of the unnecessary exposition.

"Should we look for your mom and head home already?" Alexander suggested as he had finally gone through all the reasons he had for being here.

"Isn't there still a BttF panel later?" Milla knew the schedule. "I thought you were still going to do your observe-observe thingy with that."

"I'm just interested in seeing reactions for the display and the music and animation reveal. Back to the Future publicity is on its own course and I don't need to keep watch too close of a watch on it now." Alexander added. "Besides, it's just going to platform for the current theatrical run and the sequels anyway. There is even a reveal of Top Gun but that's just a little drop for next year's advertising tricks."

"We could still stay if you or your mom is still interested in that whole thing though?"

"No, I already have done a lot of question and answer with you today." Milla really had fun quizzing Alex with her own curious questions. "And I was at Back to the Future filming, so I'm good with going home now."

Being reminded of Q&As, Milla had a last-minute curiosity that she wants to discuss. "With you going home, does that mean Creed Music and Creed Animations are considered a success already?"

"The introduction part is… but there's still a lot more to do for it to be profitable." Alexander just played along like how he had been for most of their Comic-Con stroll.

"So, is there going to be 'I'll Give You Romance' singles? You know like Billboard charts and stuff." Milla was wondering how her work will fare against others.

"Unfortunately, that would be a different process." Alexander had to break the girl's hopes for now. "With our songs' heavy association to the animated shows and its mostly minute-long run-time... it is just going to be considered an add-on for a "kid's show" by the music industry."

"How will Creed Music make money then?" Milla wasn't really a business person but it is weird for Alex to do something like that. After all, she knew the Creeds and their appreciation of making money.

"For now, it's called Creed Music and not Creed Records for a reason. Just like how Waffle House has a music studio that is meant to supply songs for their eateries' jukebox." Alexander explained. "However, it won't be long for Creed Music to branch out operations after we have meddled around for a bit."

The music industry is a completely different beast to tackle and they had to steady themselves in their existing field before they attempt anything substantial.

Creed Entertainment didn't have to be stretched too thin and they had to reinforce what they had now.

Alex's ambition was reflected in his eyes again and the admiring Milla was looking forward to what's he is thinking about.

After all, if Alex does something, that thing is surely going to be fascinating and interesting!

With that out of the way, the duo did meet the song-observing Miss Galina near a Creed-themed booth and expressed their intentions to go home.

Like her daughter, Miss Galina was enthused by the crowd's reaction to the song and can't wait for things to develop further into a grand future. Everything was coming together in Galina's opinion.

She didn't share the same child-like passion and interest Milla had for the weirdness of this convention though, so she is more than happy for them to get out of here and drive away.

With that, Alexander Creed had left the vicinity of Comic-Con 1985 for good. Only some people even knew he was there.

Granted, his works and the derivatives of those creations have become one the most popular entry in this year's SDCC!

No new Creed comic book titles were being published but that didn't mean that it had been stuck with its growth.

The Creed showcase has shown that it has actually progressed and is ready to refresh the nerd industry once again.

It was still unclear which of the showcased products were going to debut widely into society... but the news of everything available had been disseminated to interested parties already.

New toys that are rare and elusive or even just something to add to what people already have.

There is even enforced publicity on the Back to the Future film that they had. There are even explosive reveals about what to expect for the sequels through interviews from select cast members and Bob Gale the film's "half-writer". Poor Bob was considered so because of Alex Creed's status to the Creed fans.

Ready-made and improved costume selections were showcased at the convention as well, so it is going to be an interesting Halloween for everyone.

There are T-shirts and other Creed-themed products as well... but it was hard to grasp where and when are they going to pop up.

Of course, there are clearly Comic-Con exclusive experiences that a lot of comic book people had missed out on.

Aside from Comic-Con exclusive stuff and Cover Page Photo Booths, perhaps the most regretful thing that the non-Comic-Con goers couldn't be a part of was the TMNT and Dragonball songs.

From August 1-4, four music videos are only allowed play in set schedules. Every day during noon and late in the day... to accommodate the leaving traffic of the morning and the leaving crowd of the afternoon.

Still, those showcase times are going to be the only chances to hear the exciting theme songs. It is said to only be available to the public again only when the announced animated shows finally start broadcasting. The wait is probably going to haunt some people.

Through an explosive Creed project reveal and circulating "singing re-creations" from those that heard the songs, anticipation to see the Turtles and Goku on TV was building up.

Even the Anti-Creed had to do a lot of re-shuffling from the tricks that Creed has played. Improved toys and botched awards were great but they hadn't really prepared for the other things that Creed has done.

Suffice to say, Creed had made a splash at Comic-Con and its ripples were spreading unto society!

A lot of interested parties are probably not going to miss out on Comic-Con the next time around and the SDCC should expect a splurge of attendees for 1986!

Of course, there has been quite a little outrage when the Kirby Awards had taken place... so they had to get a better handle on that.

This is a work of fiction and a lot of unresearched topics so don't bash my trashy work too much.
