Milla Rising

Whilst Old Sullivan is on his agenda to make his grandson's smile into a relevant topic of conversation, his grandson didn't want anything to do with it... and ultimately, didn't care for it.

Alexander had important little boss responsibilities to do... or rather, he had some lingering voice acting roles to take care of.

For this reason, he headed directly towards the Creed Animations building after shaking off his grandfather's weird inclinations.

Of course, said animations could be considered a music building as well... since a little side expansion to a different field is happening here as well.

------

"Hey, Alex... have you read the news?" Unsurprisingly, Courteney Cox was by the recording room.

"What news?" Alexander wanted specifics. After all, there are lots and different kinds of news.

"The news about Back to the Future dominating the box office charts for its first week!" Courteney said while holding up a publication that had 'Back to the Future' on its front page.

"Yeah... I guess I'm up to date with some of it." Alexander answered truthfully.

He truly was up to date... every day since the premiere and in almost every newspaper publication he could get a hold of.

He had truly become a newspaper hoarder in a span of three days because he was building up a lot of nervous energy in those three days.

It is best to keep that detail under wraps though...

Courteney noted his usual lackadaisical manner of speaking and commented. "How dull as always! I thought you'd be ecstatic and jumping at the very least. This is very good news, after all!"

"At least there's you, I guess." Alexander felt some relief with what she said though. "Everyone else in this place, especially my grandfather, is practically blowing up the fact that I smiled. Then there's you that says my reaction is not enough."

"Glad to know that there's still some uncorrupted people that my grandfather's influence has yet to reach." This Bulma voice actress was truly a refreshing thing in this place. "I hope it stays that way."

Courteney really didn't know how to react to that. All that she knows is that the old and the young Creed are different and sometimes opposing extremes... but they are still extremes nonetheless!

The best advice she gave to herself was to never think further on it... so that she wouldn't be trapped in that inescapable rabbit hole of the Creed dynamic.

Anyways, Courteney just kept herself to the film topic as she expressed a reminiscent expression on her face "The premiere was only about three days ago... and it still became number one against the competitors that have been accumulating tickets for the whole seven days. How amazing is that?"

"It is amazing." Alexander agreed with that.

Courteney sighed at the boy's apt response. It was so apt that it felt insincere and cold. "What else was I expecting from an already established cool and indifferent boy? Him saying 'amazing' and smiling at good news is already good enough. It makes one curious about how he would react to 'very good' and 'extremely good' news."

Alexander had a comment on her self-monologue. "Well... perhaps very good news for me would be the fact that I'm nearly wrapping up this silly voice acting job already."

"Woah... you want to voice your disdain about working with a beautiful girl like me!" Courteney voiced her dissatisfaction. "Just wait when you're a teen, an adult, or perhaps grow appreciation like normal people... then you'll finally appreciate working with me and regret your current disdains."

Well... Alexander had nothing to say to that. He was commenting on his dislike of being forced into VA work... yet she had somewhat made it about herself.

It was clear that she was cocky as always.

He wasn't sure whether this vainness was an act or not...

Maybe her true self was not this way at all.

Maybe she was caught up in method-acting nonsense that Alexander himself is playing out.

All he was sure of... was that this cockiness fit the role of voicing Bulma so well.

Anyways, this was how most voice-acting days played out for the both of them.

To discuss the characters they play and comment on the actions that said characters are going to do.

Of course, they also discuss about the characters that they themselves are... and they comment on the actions they themselves have done.

"Hi, Alex!" A sharp voice of a girl suddenly sounded out.

Courteney greeted the one girl that had the previlige to easily barge in on this recording area. "Hello to you Milla. Are you ready to voice the awaited Chichi?"

"Bleh... I wasn't talking to old lady Cox!" Milla just stuck her tongue out to the greeter though. "I was talking to Alex."

"Old lady Cox!" Courteney was flummoxed and reasoned. "Are you still on about what I said during the premiere? Little Milla, I'm not your rival... that other girl on the premiere is the one you should be angry at!"

"Whatever!" Milla didn't want to talk about that and just went straight to her friend. "Alex, grandpa Sullivan said that you were smiling... and we should take a picture later to com-rate it!"

"No thanks..." Alexander really wanted to avoid rowdy and pesky things. Rowdy girl talks and pesky grandfathers. "...and it should be commemorated... not com-rate."

He was no corrective nazi... he was just asked by Miss Galina to correct Milla as he can.

"English is hard." Said a Ukrainian girl who has grown up in English-speaking lands and aspires to be a star in English-speaking Hollywood.

"Anyways, congratulations on Back to the Future, Alex!" Milla was genuinely happy. "Mom asked me to congratulate you for her, too."

"Thanks." Alexander just took it with that and was curious. "Where is Miss Galina though? She's usually close to you whenever you're up to something that would advance your career."

"She is busy with a lot of things and will come here for the Chichi recording in a little while." Milla remembered the many things that she was about to do and can't help but list them out. "I have voice acting and singing and modeling later... and I had acting in Back to the Future 2. I really am becoming a star... so mother is going to be busy as well."

"Congratulations are also in order for you, I guess." Alexander congratulated the girl for the big step up from what it had been when he met her a year ago.

"Hehe! Thank you, Alex." Milla was quite grateful for that.

Her Back to the Future II's cameo role aside... Milica had a Chichi VA role now.

Of course, there was also the fact that a recording of her singing had already been done for Creed Animations' theme songs as well.

Then, there was the fact that she would become a photo model under Miss Galina's efforts and the Old Creed's reconnected connections to the clothing industry.

Everything was really coming up for little Milla... which was within Alexander's machinations.

After all, he had been keeping tabs on the Jovovich for these kinds of career advancements and hoping to correlate it with his degree of influence.

Granted, Miss Galina being busy was within expectations as well.

The current key takeaway from this though was the fact that Miss Galina was going to be busy...

This meant that her current role as his caretaker slash chauffeur would have to be absolved to better facilitate Milla's needs.

It's not like the former actress from Russia would be content with keeping such a role, after all.

A replacement has to be considered but that might have to wait until the relevance of the replacement became much more apparent.

Anyways, it is just best to keep tabs on such an eventual development now than later.

With little Millica's rising, ths variables at play were going to be much complex and proper methodologies of doing things should be done.

-----

Of course, relegated to the side of these congratulation-exchanging younglings, was the sidelined Courteney Cox.

Milla's grudge for the 'boy friend' incident aside, Courteney can't help but envy the girl's resources.

The little girl already has a little role in a sequel to a movie that is currently dominating the theaters...

The little girl was going to be a voice actress like her... and even had a song or even songs for her to sing.

The little girl also has a role in a comic book as well... although that was just the likeness of a teenage girl in a robot story.

Then, there's this new development of modeling as well...

Said little girl is only nine-year-old as well... and already has a much wider development option than a 20-year-old like her had.

Courteney herself only has a little role in a music video... this voice acting gig... and a tampon commercial. Of course, she was also filming for 'The Misfits of Science' as well... so there's that!

Oh... the unfairness of things!

Well... Courteney's envy just ended with that though... since she had more or less figured out how to replicate little Milla's current achievements.

In all of the little girl's current steps to being a star... wasn't there a common foundation called Creed to be found?

Courteney's eyes then secretly darted to the little boy that the little girl is obviously pining for...

Wasn't this little boy one of the Creeds that made things happen?

It truly was an interesting discovery... and Courteney's thoughts knowingly revolved around it!

With little Milla on the rise... can't she go through with that as well?!

This is a work of fiction and a lot of unresearched topics so don't bash my trashy work too much.
