Chapter 132

5 Years Later

The Criminal Alliance had fallen during the 4th year of the war. And it was to be expected since while they were a formidable opponent they lacked the proper Military which the CIS and the Galactic Empire had.

All three Criminal Factions were sent into hiding while the worlds which were once under their control was now split between the Galactic Empire and the CIS. 

Alexander had saw this situation coming since Mercenaries would not last forever and with the Galactic Empire joining the war the Mercenaries were offered more money to fight for the Galactic Empire than the Criminal Alliance.

This caused a shortage in Mercenaries and the Strength of the Criminal Alliance Military was steadily dropping. They tried to fill the ranks with slaves and their own Influential leaders but that didn't work quite well.

They were beat back all the way to Nal Hutta where the Hutt Grand Council was captured and the remaining two members of the Criminal Alliance had managed to escape.

But what really happened was the Hutt's were betrayed by the Black Sun and the Zann Consortium. Alexander was sitting in his office as Yrena told him about the situation.

"Although it appeared that the Imperial Troops had successfully captured the Hutts, our Intelligence reports reveal a different story. It was actually a ploy orchestrated by the Black Sun and Zann Consortium; they lured the Hutt Grand Council to a specific location under false pretenses," Yrena explained as she continued to explain.

"However, this was just a ploy as they also leaked the information to the Imperial forces in order to divert their attention and successfully flee to a safer location, leaving the Hutt Grand Council to deal with the Imperial troops." Yrena concluded her explanation.

Alexander let out a sigh and shook his head as he listened to the story of the Criminal Alliance's downfall. "I had a feeling that something like this would happen eventually," he commented with a sense of resignation. "And it played out exactly as I had predicted."

Alexander made it clear that criminal gangs should never be trusted, as they could easily turn on you without warning. He continued to speak out against the Criminal Alliance, labeling them as untrustworthy and treacherous.

"Anything Else Happen recently" Asked Alexander as he leaned back in his seat.

Yrena said, "I have a few things to tell you. First off, the Galactic Empire is only 6 months away from finishing their dangerous project - the Death Star. Once completed, it will have the power to destroy an entire planet in a matter of seconds." She then went on to explain more details about the Death Star and its capabilities.

Alexander already knew about it's capabilities but he let Yrena continue since she was quite cute when she was explaining something serious.

As she finished speaking, she let out a deep sigh. She had just informed him of something extremely perilous that could potentially destroy the lives of billions or even trillions. However, she also had a feeling that he already had a plan or project in place to combat it.

"Cortana could you please explain to her our counter for that" Said Alexander as Cortana popped up next to him.

Cortana explained that Project Redemption had been in the works for as long as the Death Star. The goal was to create a weapon that surpassed its power and a planetary shield capable of defending against it. They named the weapon Gaia and the shield Oracle.

"And is that project complete?" Asked Yrena

"Yes, The shield, Oracle is already apart of Lehon's defense systems while Gaia is built on the world Meldina which is the second closest orbital position to our home systems star Abo" Replied Cortana.

"Now that the first issue is resolved, let's move on to the second matter. Asajj Ventress, Count Dooku's second in command, attempted to overthrow him, but her plan failed and she was caught at one of the Warp Gates while seeking help from her fellow Night sisters," Yrena clarified.

"Hmmm. That's some interesting news indeed. I say allow her to meet with her fellow Night Sisters and maybe we can get a new addition to the Nightsisters" Said Alexander. This was an opportunity to get Asajj Ventress on his side and he would not waste it.

"Alright then I will let let the Clan Mother know to go and meet with her at once" Responded Yrena.

"And now the last thing I have to report is that since today all of the Empresses will come here to have a grand feast and to spend some time with each other. So i hope your prepared to spend the entire week with us and the kids" Said Yrena.

Alexander joked, "I suppose I could squeeze that into my busy schedule," earning a deadly glare from Yrena. "Actually, that would be wonderful," he quickly corrected himself.

Despite his superiority in strength, he felt vulnerable and exposed in her presence. This is what made the power of a wife so terrifying - even though the husband may be physically stronger, it is often the wife who holds the true power over him.

It was as if marriage magically bestowed women with an overpowering force that would activate whenever they were angry with their husbands, causing the husbands to do whatever their wives wanted out of fear for their lives.

But when it came to the bedroom Alexander was always the one who held the power and nobody could or would try and stop him.
