Chapter Seventy Three

A month before the wedding,

"Surprised, babe!"

Alex just shook her head when she saw Adrian's wide smile. She shifted her body away from the door, making room for her fiancé to enter, and then closed it again.

She was alone at home because, thirty minutes ago, her parents and brother flew to Japan. Her father said that a business partner had died, so they all left to send their condolences and left her alone at home. Well, not really alone, considering that there is a security guard at the gate and there are also two household assistants who are probably currently languishing in their own rooms.

As soon as Adrian heard this news, the man immediately called her. Forcing her to go to the apartment. But Alex is really lazy about going anywhere, let alone having to drive. Finally, her fiancé gave in and came to their house.

Before she could even touch the sofa where Adrian was sitting, the man said lightly, "Get ready. We'll have dinner outside."
