Adding fuel to fire

At a meeting with Heidi, Marc's mind was obviously drifting away from the conversation at hand. One that Patrick did not fail to notice. 

He was unconsciously staring in a different direction while Heidi was talking to him.

"Will you excuse us for a while?" Patrick said. Basically waking him up from his daydream. 

"What the hell are you doing?" Patrick said to him as soon as they left the room together. "Do you know how hard it is for me to waste my time babysitting someone like you? When you're supposed to be the one busting your butt off to get this job done in the first place,"

"Just what do you mean by that?" he was going to add that he's working very hard himself. But it seems his effort has always gone unnoticed. 

"If you have a problem with your fiance. Fix it when you get home. And don't mix it with business like this. You're just making the same mistake of easing up when you think everything is going to be fine on its own."
