You Deserve A Peaceful Retirement

Hailey seemed pretty desperate for Dallin to believe her. He did. He had seen how happy she was with him over the years. She wasn't a good enough actress to fake that for so long considering he could always tell when she was stressed despite her refusing to talk about it. 

He understood that now. Having such a big secret and not being able to say anything because it was too unbelievable…that must have been so hard for her. 

He tenderly stroked her cheek and kissed her. "I know. It's really okay, Hailey. But are you going to be able to carry on like this? You've been so stressed lately and I'm worried about you."

"You're one of a kind, you know that? I'll live. I don't know how I'm going to maintain this long term but I have to. I don't want Summer to have to live like me. She deserves to have what you had. A normal life."
