Our Journey Has Only Just Begun!
In a verdant forest, tunes were sung as strange looking birds chirped from high up in the canopies of trees; strong gusts of winds brought with them a sharp whistling when passing through narrow entries; and various insects buzzed and cried all throughout. Altogether, it painted a very harmonious atmosphere.
But in the middle of this lively forest, lying as still as a rock, sat a small purple blob-like creature.
It looked as if it were dead, or in a much more hospitable manner, like it was trapped in a very, very deep sleep.
Numerous creatures looked at it from afar, but none of them dared to approach. After all, this creature was alien to their home! What if it was waiting for an opportunity to catch them off guard?!
As the creatures speculated, the purple blob suddenly showed signs of life in the condition of slight movement.
The amorphous blob moved slowly as it squiggled up from the ground, revealing a pair of two black, beady dots for eyes and a curved mouth forming a smile.
Rising from the ground, it looked around in curiosity.
'Where am I? And why do I feel so... short? Wait a minute—'
Looking down, the blob was shocked to realize its hands were just two little blobby protrusions.
'Wha-What's going on?!?!'
Even so, it quickly thought back, 'That's right, I was given rebirth but as a pokémon species known as Ditto. I should be able to transform into my human self though!'
Naturally, this was Gunne Magni, a twenty year old who died only to isekai into another world.
Suddenly, an abrupt message resounded within his mind.
[Congratulations on binding the Poké Point System!]
'Um—Thank you?' he thought in bewilderment.
[The Poké Point System has a handful of abilities! Here is a very brief explanation! But first, the most basic of knowledge for trainers will be given to you directly!]
Gunne's head tilted in confusion. Before he could ask any further, he felt like his head was about to burst!
His brain was being forcefully fed with knowledge!
Crying aloud, he grabbed his head in anguish, hoping the pain would all just go away!
After a couple of minutes, Gunne felt his body relax as he panted lightly.
The system continued, [All basic trainer knowledge has been imparted. A simple system tour will now be given. Please, pay close attention.]
[Various functions exist, being: Pokédex, Bag, Gacha, and Shop.]
[The Pokédex will allow you to view all of your Pokémon's information. As you are also a Pokémon, you can view your own information as well.]
[Secondly, the Bag is where you store your items; it's pretty much an inventory. Simple, right?]
[Thirdly, the Gacha is a system where you can spend Poké Points in order to draw random prizes! These prizes range from cheap goods that can be easily purchased in the world, to items that are simply unobtainable by normal means! The basis for the Gacha is luck.]
[Lastly, the Shop will allow you to purchase specified items with Poké Points. If you prefer a much more dependent manner of spending your points, the Shop is for you! Naturally, the basis of luck is replaced with a higher price.]
[There exist various other functions, but you will only manage to unlock them in the future. The system tour can always be replayed, should you miss any details. This concludes the system tour!]

Thanks to the system imparting a trainer's basic knowledge onto him, Gunne quickly understood all of the features.
And without further ado, he opened the Shop, eagerly awaiting to see what the free items and one upgrade were.

Exclusive Hidden Ability - Transmogrify (Initial Stage)
Transmogrify is an exclusive ability granted by Arceus, specifically for Gunne Magni. It is an evolved version of the Hidden Ability, Impostor, and the Move, Transform. Transmogrify gives the ability to transform into an exact replica of any physical object or living creature, including its form and abilities.
In its initial stage, the only possible transformation is: human species.
Furthermore, Transmogrify allows the use of 'TMs,' otherwise known as Technical Machines. Any other Ditto is unable to do this, leaving you as a very unique existence.
There is one last use of Transmogrify: you are able to use learned moves while in human form.

High-Tech Pioneering Chip
A highly advanced chip of unknown origin. Upon use, it fuses with the body, becoming part of your DNA.
Upon transforming into a human, the chip will manifest itself as a grey trainer's cap, as well as a grey, black, and white colored trainer outfit, dressing you instantly.
A bag will also be provided with the transformation in order to keep the 'Bag' function a secret.

Gunne immediately claimed the three gifts in excitement, then he called for the Bag function.
Without wasting a second, he pulled out the High-Tech Pioneering Chip, watching as it instantly merged into his body on contact.
Having read its description and considering his isekai, Gunne felt like nothing could surprise him at this rate.
Then, he grabbed a small but divine-looking orb. It emanated the words: Exclusive Hidden Ability - Transmogrify (Initial).
'How do I use this?' he asked himself, only to discover that it started sparkling with a multi-colored light.
Having found the secret, he willed his mind to learn the ability, and the orb of light immediately flew into his body.
Gunne's beady eyes closed briefly before opening with a newfound brilliance as his body's cells rearranged, reconstructing into a different cellular structure as he found his height brought back up to normal.
Within mere seconds, Gunne found himself in what felt like his original body, but with a few minute differences.
He felt stronger, more flexible, and even his physical appearance had a much more pure and handsome look—like that of a model.
The Pioneering Chip had also done its job.
He was now wearing an entire set of white, grey, and black clothing that was slickly designed. Inside his jacket was a section to hold his Poké Balls and there was also a black sling bag strapped over his shoulder. Accompanied by his dark blue hair was a trainer's cap that when paired with his greyish-blue eyes, gave an extra flare to his style.
The creatures, or more so the pokémon in his surroundings, continued watching in interest.
Even so, Gunne had no time to spare them at the moment.
Looking back into his bag, he saw a set of sixteen Poké Balls, and just to the right of them was a seventeenth that looked out of place.
Carefully, he picked it up, inspecting it closely.
It was red and black in color and as he inspected it, the system immediately appraised it.
[Cherish Ball. Occupant: ???]
Gunne grabbed the Cherish Ball and immediately readied his throw, clicking the button in the middle as he tossed it in expectation.
With a high-pitched metallic shrill, the Poké Ball shot out a burst of light, revealing a short black and blue dog. It had a yellow collar around its neck, blue tail, red eyes, and it looked like it was wearing a black mask based on the pattern on its face.
"Yarra! Arh!" The small black and blue dog quickly cried out in excitement.
Gunne smiled, feeling positive that it was the same dog considering its lively energy and the way it looked at him. With his interest piqued as to what species the dog now was, he opened up the Pokédex and a small screen appeared just before his eyes.
Despite the fact that the screen appeared within the actual world, only he could see it as it was apart of the system.
Gunne inspected the entry closely.

• Bio: Ditto can reorganize its cells to make itself into a duplicate of anything it sees. The quality of the duplicate depends on the individual.

Having looked through his and Riolu's information, Gunne took a moment to think.
"Now that I've actually isekai'd, what am I supposed to do? Riolu, any thoughts?"
Riolu tilted its head with a smile, cheering, "Yarra yarra!"
Despite not being able to make out Gunne's words, Riolu could easily sense his aura and so he cheered out inspiringly.
Gunne smiled, "Alright, let's get moving. Maybe we can look for a nearby town and then do some exploring of this new world?"
"Yarra! Rio!"
Their journey together had only just begun!
