Grant pulled the security guard’s handcuffs from his gym bag, pocketed the key, and cuffed the man to the steering wheel. “Don’t go anywhere.” He scooped up the girl and walked to the service door, almost hoping someone would dare to deny him access and give him a target for his anger. Kicking on the door, he called out for anyone to open up. A few minutes later, it squeaked open an inch, enough for him to be heard. “Let me in. I’ve recovered one of the children.”
