“How about the barn?” Sean asked, hoping it could be used as storage and a woodshed if nothing else.
Noah and Sean went to try and wrench open the doors that had gotten stuck. “Need to do something to these. I think it’s swelling from the moisture.” Sean gritted his teeth, and on a count of three, they managed to get a door open.
“This isn’t too bad. The basics are okay because the walls are stone on the bottom. Might have some structure damage on top and the roof needs to be fixed. But if they don’t need it for animals, it should be just fine.” Mikael looked around. “Did you find a woodshed?”
“Yeah, there’s one in the side. It’s more or less rundown but that won’t be hard to fix. It’s just a lean-to really.” Noah shrugged.
“Okay. Well, let’s get back home. Stuff to do and I need to email the Council and give them an estimate. Sean, you can help me with the figures, right?” Mikael asked as they closed the doors again.
“Sure.”
