At ancient time, the Divine Race was in the middle of the hierarchy and didn't show any interest in rank or fighting against other races.

However, by the end of Savage time, the weak race known for being extremely benevolent rose on top, next to the supreme god. They prove their power and strength after they can no longer overlook the higher beings' hostility and conceitedness. The two races go against each other by the end of Savage Time, and, of course, the divine race wins, but that doesn't mean the divine race takes the land or the world.
