I looked up and smiled. The sun was bright, the sky was clear and the birds are singing. It was a perfect day to ask a girl on a date. I turned to Raphael who was pale in the face with dark bags under his eyes. He was dressed up in a nice suit while holding a bouquet of large red roses, so he looked dashing overall, but if you focused close on his expression, he looked like death.
Alex patted him on the back and tried to cheer him up. “You ready, Lord Raphael?” Alex asked with sparkling eyes. “It’s gonna be the next step toward your future!”
“I… I don’t…” Lord Raphael held his hand up to his lips as his face turned a bit green “I don’t feel so well.”
“Just take deep breaths, Lord Raphael. Deep breaths,” I instructed. “Everything will be alright.”
“It would have been better for you to ask her yesterday so you can go on your day this weekend, buuuut…”
