Fong Lin stared in wonder as the dreaded Banshee screech she had feared echoed into nothingness, thanks to Kai's barrier.

"He wasn't joking. That thing is sturdy..." Fong Lin mumbled to herself in excitement.

"Everyone, get ready. It's about to stop!" Kai yelled as he slowly walked out of the bushes.

Fong Lin nodded her head and gripped her hammer tightly as Fu Huang came to her side with his sword in hand.

Kai carefully analyzed the intensity of the attack through his connection with Lixue and quickly concluded that were it not for the barrier, this attack would have likely caused severe internal damage to them all.

'Internal attacks are terrifying. Even if I had my scales covering me, this attack would have just bombarded my mind and organs from the inside...' Kai thought to himself as the screech continued to lessen in intensity.
