Spy Games Ch. 24

For the smallest instant, it looks like the female monk might crack a smile at my crass joke. But then it's gone and she's looking at me with a most severe expression on her face, staring down my astral form.

"I do hope you realize the full extent of your actions, Vali Masters. You may just have doomed us all, with what you've done here today."

A raise a single wispy ghostly eyebrow at that, and gesture with an arm that trails through the air like it's water back towards Strange's hospital room.

"What, healing a good man and a genius surgeon? I would think I've done a good deed. After all, will he not go on to save many more likes now that he has his hands back."

"At the expense of potentially all of existence. He was not meant to stay upon this path, Mr. Masters. He was meant for much more."

For a moment, silence hangs between us, as if she's expecting me to riposte with some verbal lunge shaped in a question, like we've been doing so far. Instead, I let the silence linger before asking a question she's not expecting.

"Are you waiting for me to ask what he was meant for? Sounds rather boring."

Here, the Ancient One steps forward, eyes narrowing as her gaze sharpens.

"You tread on dangerous grounds, Mr. Masters. Perhaps be mindful of the unknown waters you wade through."

At that, I raise my second eyebrow to join the first.

"Oh? Are they supposed to be unknown? Whoops."

The only warning that the Ancient One gets is a multi-colored glow in my astral chest, before tentacles of red energy tinged with a purple glow whip out of me and latch onto her, restraining her in moments and holding the bald female monk's astral projection in place as I grin wickedly. The yellow of the Mind Stone glows most fiercely of all… but then I've been using it since I was launched from my body.

The first thing I'd done after having my spiritual self pushed out of my physical form was check on my connection to the stones. Thankfully, what I and the Infinity Stones had at this point was far more than just the physical. They weren't just a part of my body, they were entwined with my very self, at this point.

"You-!"

The Ancient One falls silent as I put a finger to her lips, having closed the distance between us in an instant. She is… certainly a dangerous entity. Probably one of the most dangerous entities I've faced since arriving in this universe. But, I was more dangerous at this point.

"Shh, there's no need for you to talk, my dear. I can see it all quite clearly, right up there."

I move my finger from her lips to tap her forehead, watching her eyes widen in time with my grin.

"I don't usually default to breaking the game we're all playing by going all out, you know. Or at least, I've tried my hardest not to, ever since I got to this point. But when you take me out of my comfort zone, I'm bound to lash out. You're lucky that rather than pulling you apart and putting you back together with the Aether bit by bit, my first instinct was to turn towards the Mind Stone and enhance it with the Power Stone instead."

Understanding dawns in the Ancient One's gaze, and I nod at her in acknowledgement.

"Yes, I know who and what you are. I know who you represent. I know why you came here, what you wanted with Doctor Strange. I interfered, turned him away from the path that would have led him to you before he even really got off the starting line. Now you're afraid, because you've spent so long believing him to be your protégé, to be your replacement. You see your death, but you don't know who will defeat Kaecilius and his disciples when you're gone. You aren't sure who will stop Dormammu either. You're afraid."

Despite my accusation, the Ancient One certainly doesn't look afraid as she glares back at me, as if she's more annoyed by my invasion of her mind and my capture of her astral form than she is horrified by my knowledge. When she speaks, her tone is just as clipped and accusatory as ever.

"If you know everything I know, then you know how much you've mucked things up. So then, Valiant, Hero of Earth… what are you going to do about it?"

I grin right back at her and go for a nonchalant shrug.

"Well, I figure I fix it by gifting you immortality, Boudicca."

Now there's fear. And for two reasons too. My casual dropping of her name, a name that even the Ancient One herself had thought she'd forgotten… but no, it's there. Buried deep in the recesses of her mind is a past. She was a warrior, as cliché as that might sound, before the previous Sorcerer Supreme found her and took her in. But I didn't really care about all the hundreds of years of fine details. Her name alone was enough, because frankly, I was already sick of referring to her as 'The Ancient One'.

"You can't."

And there's the other reason there's now fear in her gaze and a tinge of horror in her voice. Dear Boudicca, is afraid of immortality of all things. Which is just… so hypocritical, given that she had been dipping into the Dark Dimension for centuries now in order to keep herself young and healthy, using the Time Stone to peer into the future until the point of her inevitable death, trying to prepare for it but also doing everything in her power to avoid it.

Still, I can see the words in her mind, even as they leave her lips. Words that she's rolled over in her head for decades now, words that she's seen herself saying to Stephen Strange before her death… before I went and 'mucked that up' of course.

"Death… Death is what gives life meaning. To know your days are numbered, and your time is short. None of us get to choose our time."

"Hogwash."

She'd looked so severe and stern and wise beyond her impressive years a little while ago. Now though, Boudicca flinches at my tone, at the single word response I offer her. Snorting in derision, I shake my head.

"Fuck that. You might think that your handful of centuries gives you perspective on life and death, but I've been kicking around for a few millennia now, young whipper snapper. Life is what gives life meaning. Experiences are what makes living precious. Death is the end of the line. Anyone who needs the inevitability of Death in order to properly Live… isn't worth my time. But you, Boudicca, you aren't one of those people. You've just spent a long time tricking yourself into believing that you are."

I'm already within inches of her. The Aether holds her aloft, helpless and bound in MY grasp. Reaching up with my actual hands, I grab hold of her bald head, my thumbs stroking her cheeks, feeling out her high cheekbones.

"Your original plan, hastily put together in the aftermath of my mucking about, as you put it, was to have me replace Doctor Strange. You thought to guilt me into following you back to Kamar-Taj, where you would teach me your ways. At the same time, you would be assessing me, to see if I was worthy of fully taking Stephen's place, or whether you would need to put contingencies in place to have me dealt with after you were dead and gone and I'd saved the day from Kaecilius and Dormammu."

She's trembling in my grasp, her already big eyes near bulging as I stare at her, leaning ever closer until our mouths are mere inches apart.

"… But fuck all that. Why should I waste my time, when I can simply make sure you're around to do it for me?"

I don't give her a chance to respond, my mouth covering hers hungrily a moment later, my lips smashing into her lips, my fangs dancing across her tongue before she quickly and hastily pulls it deeper in. But it's fine… I'm not going to drink her blood. With the Aether holding us in place, I snap us back into our physical bodies. Now, given that we were in the middle of a hospital hallway when Boudicca attacked me, there are some reactions to this.

Luckily, only a moment had passed in actual time since she'd thrust us into the astral plane, so all anyone had really seen when a bald monk attack the hero Valiant. Whipping out of there faster than any human eye could track, I took us someplace a bit more secluded, away from prying eyes, both human and electronic.

And then I let it happen. The Aether pours out of my mouth and into hers, and Boudicca, the Ancient One's eyes roll back in her head as she begins to spasm and shake. I don't let go of her face, in fact my fingers dig in a little, even as I work my will and the Reality Stone does what I want it to do. This isn't my first rodeo with this particular trick though… I'd pulled it first with a certain Agent Carter, deaging her before giving her immortality in order to use her as part of the game I was playing with Steve Rogers and the rest of SHIELD during the whole Winter Soldier debacle.

Much like happened with Peggy Carter, Boudicca of the Celts slowly begins to transform before my eyes. In all fairness, Peggy had been degraded beyond belief, and quite physically old by the time I got to her. As much as Boudicca was chronologically far older than Peggy, her body was closer to that of a woman in her fifties, and one that took healthy living to the extreme at that.

Still, I was a shallow bastard on my best day. Also, part of me wanted to see what the Celtic warrior that Boudicca had once been looked like in her twenties before she'd been taken to Kamar-Taj. I get my wish soon enough, as wild red hair grows untamed from her previously bald scalp, and all of the age lines and meager wrinkles fade away as her biological clock is rolled back and back and back.

… She may have looked like she was only in her fifties, but apparently she'd looked like that for a LONG fucking time, because it takes quite a while to see any progress at all. But eventually, it's done and the Ancient One is ancient no longer. Boudicca is what remains, the young Celt not exactly what I would call conventionally beautiful… but nevertheless wild and untamed in her gorgeous ferocity. She was not soft, even now… but I couldn't help but admire her sharpness.

The moment I pull back from her mouth, Boudicca tries to speak.

"You-!"

SNAP!

But I have no patience for that kind of thing, her neck broken before she can get past that first word. In the end, I didn't just fill her with the Reality Stone in order to alter her body and roll back the ravages of time on her physical form. I'd gone ahead and pushed more than enough of my blood into her as well. There's a smile on my face, as I lay Boudicca down on the ground, the leader of Kamar-Taj, the Sorcerer Supreme, sprawled at my feet.

De-aged, of course. She really is quite delectable like this, even if she didn't quite measure up to say, Natasha. All the same, red hair had always done it for me. I was already imagining what I could get up to with her when, of course, she came back to life with a gasp.

Luckily, I had bled Christine a bit more than I needed to, intending for the second bit to be a stack for myself later. Now I was having to use it on Boudicca, but ah well, needs must be met. Before the transitioning de-aged woman can properly process all that's happened, I'm already placing the opened container of blood at her lips, and she's already drinking, becoming like me… becoming mine.

A moment after she starts swallowing, she realizes what she's doing and hastily tries to pull away, but it's far too late. With a chuckle, I grip tighter at her new red curls and activate the fragments of Infinity within her. My own eyes glow with yellow power as I wield the Mind Stone against my newest hybrid, making sure that above all else, she's loyal to me.

… It's been a while since I fully took away a woman's right to choose like this, hasn't it? I suppose the last would have been Nebula. Not that I hadn't manipulated Hope Van Dyne every step of the way, but if she'd ever decided to leave me, I would have let her. I certainly never used the Mind Stone on her, and I hadn't had to use it on Nebula, having completely destroyed and rebuilt the mostly cyborg alien from the ground up with the power of the Aether enhanced by the Power Stone, until she was mine and mine alone.

With Boudicca, however, I use the Mind Stone backed by the Power Stone. I could tell already, no… cognitive recalibration was going to snap her out of this. It was the work of a few minutes, but when I was done, she was mine. The Sorcerer Supreme belonged to ME.

"On your knees."

The Celtic red head does as she's told, her own eyes flashing with a yellow glow as she looks up at me adoringly. Her hands move to my pants without any need for further prompting, and she deftly removes my cock from it's confines. I can't help it… I grin as she takes me in her mouth, my hand tightening up in her wild, untamed curls. It's the only part of her that isn't tamed at this point, effectively.

With but a thought, I use the Aether to unravel her robes from her body, exposing her rejuvenated youthful form to my eyes. She may not have the perfect hourglass figure that Natasha brought to the table, a perfect combination of curves and athleticism that made the Black Widow the dangerous assassin she was, but what she did have was more than good enough for me. Not to mention, she was so very, very interesting a toy.

"Glughk! Glughk! Glughk!"

She forces herself to choke on my cock. While I certainly have a harsh grip on her red locks, I'm not pushing or dragging her down my length at any point. Instead, that's all Boudicca, the de-aged Sorcerer Supreme gagging and gurgling along my shaft as she bobs up and down it, eyes watering but never once leaving my face.

Staring up at me, I can already see her mind reordering itself given the paradigm shift I've just forced her through. I am her Master now, and even as she forces herself to take my cock down her throat, her mind is going a mile a minute. Not trying to think of a way to escape me, oh no, she's no longer capable of that. No, she's already coming up with ways to support me… and to clean house, so to speak.

Now that she's no longer going to die, now that she's no longer ALLOWED to die, I see the plans forming in the admittedly brilliant mind of the woman before me. She would indeed take care of her own problems as I'd tasked her with, and she would do so with extreme prejudice. No longer being reliant on the Dark Dimension for her immortality actually opened up a plethora of options previously closed to her. Her new abilities, gifted to her by yours truly, opened up even more.

Grinning down at her, watching her mind at work even as I enjoy her deep-throating my cock, it's not long before I let out a loud groan and blow my load down her swallowing throat. In response, Boudicca drinks every last drop, gulping down my cum like it's the most delicious thing in the world. Which, because I'm such a great guy, it is the most delicious thing in the world! To her at least, from now on. Chuckling darkly, I run my hand through Boudicca's red locks and let out a pleased sigh as she pulls back off of my cock with a pop.

As I consider what I want to do with her next, looking into her mind and seeing just how far off Kaecilius' defection is, I realize I have all the time in the world to decide. So why not have some fun with it, right?

"Oh, Boudicca… I'm going to enjoy our time together VERY much."

"Yes, Master."

Keeping as quiet as possible, which given what he is, is pretty quiet, Mark creeps along through the facility, his head on a swivel and his enhanced senses allowing him to pick up a lot more than any human, even a highly trained one, would be able to. Which is what makes it all the more disconcerting that the hybrid isn't picking up much of anything.

But then, the former Hydra member supposes he shouldn't be all that surprised. The Hybrid Division of the Avengers, which was frequently loaned out to SHIELD for particularly delicate wet work, was quickly becoming known to the less than savory elements of the underworld. It was just how things worked, really. You couldn't keep an ace in the hole like them hidden forever, not and also use them to their fullest potential.

Mark had definitely been one of those who had advocated for them being used to their fullest potential after his sire, Vali Masters, had told him and the others to stick with the Avengers and SHIELD and follow any orders given to them by either so long as they didn't negatively effect Vali in any way. Put simply, Mark and the rest of the hybrids that Hydra had originally experimented with knew where their true loyalties lay. But for now, they were… on loan, to put things succinctly.

Regardless, the downside of being used to their fullest potential was that their adversaries devised counter-measures for them. Mark didn't know what this latest soundproofing technology was exactly, but it was good enough to nullify even a hybrid's enhanced hearing, where most normal versions of soundproofing would not.

Not that that would stop him. Sure, a few hybrids here and there had been taken out since the events of Project Insight, but Mark prided himself on being one of the best, better than the best even. Besides, he couldn't very well die before his sire needed him again, now could he? When Vali Masters called for his aid, Mark would be there, as would the others. Whatever the task, no matter what their sire asked of them… they would do it.

"You're coming up on the room where intel said the documents were now, Agent. On your left"

Bringing a hand to his ear, Mark barely speaks, subvocalizing his words and knowing that the hybrid on the other end of the line would be able to hear him anyways.

"Copy that, Control."

Reaching the door in question, Mark smiles a little at the thought of how far Poli-Sci Major Darcy Lewis had come. He might be in charge of field operations that needed more than one of them at a time, but Darcy as his co-leader (After all, Vali had put them BOTH in charge of the Avengers' Hybrid Division.) and his gal in the chair had proven to be quite the useful asset.

Pulling out a bit of technology that he might not quite understand the innerworkings of, but certainly knew how to use, Mark attaches it to the large high tech door and lets it work it's magic. At the same time, he keeps his eyes darting up and down the darkened hallway he's standing in, straining his hybrid hearing. He doesn't hear or see anyone, but there's always a chance he's missing something, even with his enhanced abilities.

But no, nothing happens in the short time it takes the device to work its way through the security and open the locked door between him and his mission. With a subvocalized chuckle, the hybrid pushes into the room and shuts the door behind him. He's expecting to find a bunch of files. After all, the reason that he'd needed to come in person was because what they needed was in paper format, rather than uploaded digitally to a server that could be hacked.

However, that's not what he finds. Instead, the room is nearly bare, save for a pedestal in the center, upon which an advanced-looking dark egg-shape sits almost lazily. Brow furrowed, but not sensing anything coming for him at the moment, Mark presses a hand to the side of his head again.

"Control… are you sure you sent me to the right room? There's no files in here."

He almost hoped that Darcy had messed up. It'd be good for a laugh later, and a friendly bit of ribbing. But instead of apologetic, the other hybrid sounds downright befuddled as her voice comes back over the comms.

"… I'm positive. That's the room that intel says the file should be in. Are you sure you're not missing it?"

Rolling his eyes at the practically bare room, Mark chuckles.

"Yes, I'm sure. There's nothing in here except for some sort of egg on a pedestal."

"What? Egg? Mark I think-!"

But whatever Darcy might have thought, Mark never finds out. He's already crossed the room in a speedy handful of steps, zipping over to the pedestal with enhanced hybrid speed and picking up the egg to stare at it. Which is of course when the Black Hole Grenade, leftover from the Dark Elf invasion in Greenwich, glows red for a moment before detonating.

The range of your average Black Hole Grenade is approximately two feet, and this one is no different. But Mark is holding it, and so he's well within it's range as the miniature gravitational singularity is unleashed and he and the pedestal are sucked in and wiped from existence. His death is instantaneous, too fast for even a hybrid to properly react when he doesn't know he's staring down the barrel.

Nothing is left behind, not even the earpiece that had been in his ear. As such, even as a certain Darcy Lewis begins to freak out a thousand miles away, the room itself is utterly quiet. Now totally bare, there's not a single trace that anything even happened, save for the lightest grooves in the floor, where the pedestal once stood.
